The Altars of Reflection are sacred sites scattered across the vast open world of Ghost of Yotei. They each appear as a warm golden glow and the gentle hum of swarming flies. When players bow before one, Atsu learns a new Technique, moving her skill level up and her connection to the spiritual forces of Yotei.
There are 61 Altars of Reflection in total, spread across six major regions: Yotei Grasslands, Ishikari Plain, Tokachi Range, Nayoro Wilds, Teshio Ridge, and Oshima Coast. You’ll encounter many through exploration, but others may require clearing enemy camps, solving puzzles, or finding hidden caves.
If you’re having trouble locating them, Traveller’s Maps can reveal their general areas — but many players prefer to discover them naturally, guided by curiosity and the faint yellow light that marks each altar’s resting place.
