Gaspin Manor Statue Puzzle Solution – Dragon Age: The Veilguard

Venture into the mysterious Gaspin Manor- a place of mystery patrolled by fearsome enemies. It contains secrets that will put your abilities to the test and promise rewards for your bravery. You’ll have to face many trials before you can unlock the deeper depths of the manor, such as defeating Venatori guards, solving the most complex puzzles, or risking your life to overcome some pretty perilous challenges.

Where to Find Gaspin Manor Statue Puzzle

When you first step into Lavendel, just south of the Eluvian portal, you’ll meet Bastian. He’s a local worried about something strange happening at Gaspin Manor. The manor’s owner has disappeared without a trace, and Bastian thinks something fishy is going on. He’s hoping you can help him get to the bottom of it.

To get to Gaspin Manor, you’ll need to fast-travel to the beacon southeast of Lavendel. This will take you to the Old Crossroads. From there, head south into the Cavernous Tunnels. But watch out; these tunnels are filled with Venatori barrier crystals that block your path. You’ll need to destroy these crystals in specific groups to progress. First, destroy five crystals, then eight, and finally, five more to reach the manor’s entrance. Red tendrils connect these crystals, so follow them to find and destroy each group.

Once you get inside Gaspin Manor, you must fight through Venatori guards. You’ll need to destroy fourteen more crystals, but watch out – Venatoris are protecting them. You’ll also come across a statue puzzle in the manor’s courtyard as you fight. You’ll need to solve this puzzle to progress further.

How to Solve Gaspin Manor Statue Puzzle

You’ll need to solve a statue puzzle in the courtyard to free the wisp. You’ll need to turn the statues to face specific braziers. There are three rotatable statues to find: one in the northern corner of the grounds, another in the eastern corner, and a third near a staircase in the center.

You’ll also come across three unlit braziers: one is southeast of the statue by the stairs, another is northwest of the eastern statue near a staircase that leads back up to the Cavernous Tunnels, and the third is southwest of the northern statue, located on the upper floor of a ruined building. Turn the north corner statue to face southwest, the southwest statue to face northwest, and the central (near stairs) statue to face southeast.

Lighting all three braziers in the courtyard will unlock the room with the wisp. You’ll find this door on the southeastern side of the manor grounds, just to the left of the main stairs leading into the manor. You’ll find a chest filled with goodies and a wisp inside the secret building you just unlocked.

This secret building is just northwest of a smaller set of stairs that lead up to the manor. Next to the secret door, you’ll find a boarded-up doorway. Behind it, you can find a large chest and a valuable item called the Ring of the Warden Royal Memento. Get close to the wisp so it follows you. Then, run back to the gate. The wisp will possess a nearby skeleton and pull a lever, opening the gate to Solitude’s End.

With the Gaspin Manor statue puzzle solved and the wisp at your side, you’ve unlocked the path to Solitude’s End. Every challenge you’ve faced, from dismantling the Venatori crystals and defeating their guards to solving the courtyard’s statue puzzle, has brought you closer to uncovering the manor’s secrets. Now, with the Ring of the Warden Royal Memento in your possession and the way forward open, you stand ready to venture even deeper into Gaspin Manor.
