All Lifepod Locations in Subnautica

Lifepods are essential points of interest in the game. They not only provide various information on the game, but also contain many blueprints and data logs to make your way easier in the game. Currently, there are 9 Lifepods that you can find all over the map. In this guide, we have provided all the Lifepod locations in Subnautica, along with their exact coordinates and the rewards you can obtain.

All Lifepod Locations

Once you check a radio message in Subnautica, the lifepod coordinates usually show up on your GPS automatically. You don’t need to figure them out manually, just follow the on-screen marker. Most lifepods are damaged and have sunk underwater. Inside or nearby, you will often find a PDA, data boxes, or blueprint fragments to help you progress. Only Lifepod 4 stays floating; all the others are underwater.

Lifepod 5

Lifepod 5 is the pod you start the game in. It’s the only one that survived the crash intact. While it doesn’t hold any collectables like the others, it serves as your first base and point of return in early gameplay.

Lifepod 2

Lifepod 2 is usually the last one to appear through a radio message, and it’s also the deepest, at around -500 meters in the Blood Kelp Zone. You will find a data box containing the Cyclops Depth Module MK1, and a PDA with Chief Technical Officer Yu’s voicelog.

Lifepod 3

Lifepod 6 sank into the Grassy Plateaus. You will find two PDAs with Crew Logs 1 and 2, and a data box containing the Ultra Glide Fins blueprint, which increases your swim speed.
