If you’re trying to complete the “Checking The Post” contract in Dune: Awakening, you’ll need to get the Pallas Wreck Key to unlock a blocked path inside the ship. The wreck itself is filled with loot, danger, and a bit of radiation, so it’s important to know where you’re going and what to bring. Where To Find Pallas Wreck Key In Dune Awakening
To start, you’ll need to pick up the “Checking The Post” contract from the Swordmaster. Once you’ve got it, the Pallas Wreck will automatically show up on your map. Make your way to the marked spot and go through the wreck as usual. Eventually, you’ll reach a forcefield gate that blocks your path this is your dead end.
The Wreck of the Pallas is found in the northern part of the Western Vermillius Gap, just east of Imperial Testing Station No. 13. Like other shipwrecks in the game, this one falls under the Right of Salvage rule, which means PvP is enabled, so watch your back. Some areas inside also have light radiation, so be prepared. If you make it all the way to the bridge that’s the final room of the wreck you’ll find a big loot chest. Inside, you can get your hands on a Standard High-Pressure SMG.
Now, turn around and head into the next room behind you. Look up and you’ll spot some rafters overhead. To get up there, climb the crate on your right and parkour your way across. Once you’re up on the rafters, look to your right you’ll see a sealed door. Use your Cutteray to break it open. Inside, you’ll find the Pallas Wreck Identification Band, which works as a key.
