The Unicorn is a rare mount that is situated in Harcane Grove, where it is guarded by three Minotaurs of the Grove. To ride it, you must sneak up on it and press the use button but beware: If you are wielding any kind of weapon at that time, it will attack.
When the Unicorn is summoned, it is tied to you and will accompany you on fast travel. Unfortunately, it cannot wear armor from the Horse Armor Pack. If you dismount and allow it to wander off, the Unicorn will eventually return to Harcane Grove, barring your intervention by remounting it. Otherwise, it behaves just like an ordinary horse, following your lead whether you are waiting, resting, or off on an adventure.
However, if the Unicorn dies, it is permanently gone and will not respawn. And if you intend to defeat it, you will be required to use magical, silver, daedric, or enchanted weapons. It’s also vulnerable to attacks from wild animals and fall damage.

Behavior
Pulling any weapon on or near a Unicorn-doesn’t matter if you’re the player or an NPC will provoke the creature’s wrath. Once provoked, there will be no outrunning it; it is extremely swift! In fact, it is best to face it or try to mount it and lead it to a more secluded place to avoid trouble.
However, bringing the Unicorn near an NPC, guards, or any of the members of Blades is a very dangerous act-most probably they would treat it as a threat and would attack it. So if you want that Unicorn to be your mount, you have to keep it away from crowded places-even just touching other horses will make it hostile to you.
