In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the “Thunderstone” quest is interspersed with a secret treasure hunt, and it takes the players to a place called the “Two Dead Trees.” It becomes important after meeting Hensel, who is a captive and gives valuable information about a secret cache. By working out the complex string of clues handed out during the “Thunderstone” quest, gamers can harvest a considerable lot of Groschen, making Two Dead Trees an inviting place to go for the brave who do not mind trying the game’s side quests.
Two Dead Trees Location
If you save Hensel during the Thunderstone quest, he’ll tell you about a stash hidden by his captors near the Two Dead Trees. You’ll find 348 Groschen there. Hensel will mention that he overheard the leader talking about where they’re hiding their riches. Head to the spot shown in the image above, and you’ll find a small alcove beneath the trees with a pot containing around 300 Groschen.
Thunderstone Quest
The Thunderstone is a side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (KCD 2). You can start this quest by speaking to Kona in Grund, a location in the Kuttenberg region. You’ll find Kona sitting near the drying racks and herb garden. When you talk to her, she’ll tell you about a protective charm she wants back and asks if you can win it for her in a fight. Choose the dialogue option “I’ll help you.” to start the quest.
After speaking with Kona, head west from Grund to Horschan and look for Thomlin Bruthans, who can usually be found walking around the farm. Talk to him to start the fight. Once you defeat Thomlin, he’ll agree to return your money, but he doesn’t have the Thunderstone. He admits he used to have it but says it was stolen by Peter from Raborsch.
To track down the stone, travel to Raborsch, which is farther west of Horschan and north of Suchdol. When you find Peter at the farm, ask him about the stone. He claims he doesn’t have it and reveals that Hensel has it. Peter also mentions that someone named Andrew is holding Hensel captive at a camp by the ponds, located between Raborsch and Bohunowitz.
