As you travel through Monster Hunter Wilds, the Indomitable Spirit quest pushes you deeper into the unfolding mystery of the White Wraith. This 20th main quest opens Chapter 3-2, which leads you to the frozen wasteland of the Iceshard Cliffs. There, you’ll rendezvous with Olivia, gain crucial information, and prepare for the challenges ahead. With the astounding news that a creature with no requirement to eat is still on the hunt, Tasheen turns his attention to getting to the bottom of things. Your travels will lead you across snowy landscapes, where you’ll encounter the mysterious Rove and an unexpected twist that brings this chapter to a close and sets the stage for what’s ahead.
Indomitable Spirit
Indomitable Spirit is the 20th main mission in Monster Hunter Wilds, marking the start of Chapter 3-2. In this mission, you’ll explore a new location, reunite with an old friend, and gear up for your next big hunt. After repelling the White Wraith, Guardian Arkveld, Tasheen is stunned to learn that a monster with no need to feed was still engaging in predation. Believing that the mysterious Allhearken might hold the answers, he sets the unit’s next destination.
Talk to Olivia in the Iceshard Cliffs
Quickly head to the Iceshard Cliffs Base Camp. Before talking to Olivia, make sure to upgrade your gear if needed. The next fight allows you to use the Fire element. After your conversation with her, you can still access your tent to resupply, but Gemma won’t be around.
Your main goal is to talk to Olivia at the Iceshard Cliffs. There are no optional objectives this time, so open the World Map and fast-travel to the location. Olivia has already set up a camp there, and once you arrive, your Hunter will share everything they’ve learned about the White Wraith with the group.
After your conversation with Olivia, your next stop is meeting Rove, the mysterious Lynian. You’ll already be mounted on your Seikret, and the journey to Rove will begin automatically. Since you’ll be traveling through freezing temperatures, make sure to have some Hot Drinks ready. If you don’t have any, don’t worry, you’ll come across Hot Pepper along the way.
When you arrive at your destination, a cutscene will occur where Rove announces the direction that you must travel next. Before the crew gets to move further, something happens unexpectedly, bringing an end to this chapter.
