The Shoring Up Defenses quest in ARC Raiders is an objective on the Riven Tides map that mixes combat with exploration. You’ll be taking down a few enemy drones and completing some small tasks around key locations. Most of it is easy to figure out, but a couple of objectives can be confusing if you don’t know where to go. This guide will walk you through on how to complete the Shoring Up Defenses quest in ARC Raiders
Shoring Up Defenses Quest
Enter the Riven Tides map in any mode. The Wasps and Fireflies could spawn anywhere, thus, be ready to find them as you travel around the map. For the window task, go to Hotel Panorama Azuro, where most shutters are located. For the radar structure task, check out Stacking Yard on the northeastern part of the map.
Travel to the Stacking Yard first and then towards the center crane area. As you reach the area, you will notice a crate and a zipline near its base. Climb up the zipline until you get to the top and locate the structure. Repair the structure using Arc Alloy.
Board Up Shuttered Windows in the Hotel
Next, go to Hotel Panorama Azuro located towards the west end of the map. Head inside the hotel and move to the east side. Head upstairs to the middle floor of the building. Inside you will see a room where there is a shutter you can board up. Just interact with it from the inside to complete the objective.
Wasps are the smaller flying drones that you need to kill while the Fireflies are more powerful and slightly bigger. After killing 5 Wasps and 3 Fireflies, you will have completed this step of the mission. Upon completing all the steps, extract yourself from the raid and return to Speranza. Here you need to talk to Apollo who will reward you with 5 Li’l Smoke Grenades, 3 Shrapnel Grenades, and 3 Barricade Kits.
