Where to Search the Nether for Any Remnants
To finish The Taken Path quest, you will have to get four Taken Osseous Fragments and they are found in four key locations throughout the Nether. All of the Taken Osseous Fragments are situated beside a ritual altar, so that is where you will start searching. Getting the first three will leave only the last one to unlock this season’s Exotic mission.
The first three fragments can be found in the following locations: In Endurance (The Trenchway), the ritual altar is near a passageway between the spawn area and the trenches, look to your right if coming from the spawn. In Urgency (Hall of Souls), you will find the altar just to the right of the spawn area. Lastly, in Revenge (Mausoleum), drop down to the right from the spawn and locate the altar near the Hive spawns, where the “enemies are moving against each other” event takes place.
The fourth and final Taken Osseous Fragment is inside the Exotic mission, Derealize, and is an unavoidable part of the quest. Completing Derealize rewards you with an unnamed item, which kicks off the Dyadic Ascension quest. Deliver this item to the Shaping Slab, and – just as expected – there are even more Osseous Taken Fragments waiting to be found.
