You’ll be taking part in Sonderzüge Sabotage of Mission 3 for Sniper Elite Resistance where you get the task to reveal information that the top Nazi superweapon would hide in one of the strictly guarded hotels and gather intelligence or make your entry in the sealed portions of a building. Stealth is key because alerting guards can make your task significantly harder. This guide leads you through steps for finding each clue but begins with taking over the control of the access to the basement hotel and ending up penetrating the penthouse. These instructions allow you to carry out this mission and at the same time complete “Search for Clues on the Superweapon.”.
Search For Superweapon Clues in Mission 3
To complete ‘Search for Clues on the Superweapon’ you will need to explore a heavily guarded hotel and gather intelligence on a secret Nazi superweapon in development.
Clue No. 1
To enter the hotel, start by clearing out the enemies in the courtyard to ensure a safe approach. Once the area is secure, head inside through the main entrance and make your way to the hotel lobby. Keep an eye out for any remaining threats before proceeding further.
Inside the lobby, you will find an elevator shaft on the first floor, drop down through it to reach the hotel’s basement. This area contains plenty of loot, so grab any useful supplies before moving forward. As you explore the basement, you will come across Nazi maps and secret documents pinned to the wall. Take a picture of these classified documents to uncover your first clue about the superweapon.
Clue No. 2
After gathering the first clue about the superweapon, head back to the hotel lobby and make your way to the bar. Inside, you will find the “Penthouse Key” hidden at the back, pick it up and prepare to move upstairs. Next, take the staircase leading to the top floor of the hotel, but be cautious, enemy soldiers are stationed along the way.
As you ascend, eliminate enemies silently using melee takedowns or a suppressed weapon to avoid drawing attention. Once you reach the top floor, you will realize that direct access to the penthouse is blocked. Instead, look around the hallway for open windows marked with white paint, these will be your way in. Climb through one of these windows and use th pipes on the building’s exterior to scale up to the penthouse level. Depending on your route, you will either enter through the bathroom or unlock the main door using the Penthouse Key.
Inside the penthouse, a lone soldier guards the final clue. Take him out before searching the war table, where you will find the second clue about the superweapon. With both clues secured, you will successfully complete the “Search for Clues on the Superweapon” objective in Mission 3 of Sniper Elite Resistance.
Tips
- Before entering the hotel, eliminate patrolling enemies quietly to avoid raising an alarm. If you get detected, reinforcements may arrive, making infiltration harder.
- After dropping down the elevator shaft, take advantage of the lootable items in the basement. Extra ammunition, health packs, and other resources can be useful for the rest of the mission.
- The higher floors have multiple Nazi guards. Take down the Nazi guards with melee takedowns or a suppressed weapon to avoid noise.
- Since the main penthouse entrance is blocked, look for hallway windows marked with white paint. These windows provide an alternate climbing route using exterior pipes.
