Institute Initiation is among the most prominent missions within the video game Aniimo, where you are introduced to several elements of the Polaris Institution. In the mission, you will be able to encounter some characters such as Nai-Li, Bohr, and Dr. Lewis, understand what Prismana Aniimo is all about, and even return to Idyll. Follow the steps below to complete the quest without missing any of the objectives.
Institute Initiation Quest
The Institute Initiation side mission becomes unlocked after completing the main quest “The Mysterious Cavern.” You need to visit the Polaris Institute located in the Nimbus Fields and speak to Nicole here. Once you start this quest, just follow Nicole and observe the cutscenes. Once control returns to your character, just follow Nicole towards the receptionist area.
Talk to Nai-Li, the receptionist here, who will ask you to enroll at the Polaris Institute. Then you need to agree to become a member of the Polaris Institution. Even if you choose not to, the choice will cycle back, so you need to pick the choice to join.
When you become a member, interact with the Polaris Institute Archive in order to initiate it. Afterward, you should go to Bohr, who is near the Holographic Discovery Booth, and talk to him about Prismana Aniimo.
You can agree to participate, which makes the Prismana Pact event accessible. You will also be able to pick up a Prismana Aniimo. Afterwards, you can talk to Dr. Lewis and get the Starbound Journey Adventure Badge. You can find all your collected badges in the Character screen, after selecting the Badge option at the top right corner.
After that, step on the teleportation device behind Dr. Lewis and travel to Idyll. Your final task is to upload your catch results. Interact with the Research Console ahead and wait for the analysis to be completed. Then, click on Next and Submit once these options appear. Once done, you will get a quick tutorial on using your Function menu, where you can manage your owned Aniimo.
You can then speak to Dr. Lewis nearby, after which you can follow him and spot your first Prismana Aniimo. This will effectively end the quest and kickstart the next quest in the game.
Institute Initiation Quest Bug
In some instances, you can’t upload your findings to the Research Console in Idyll. If that is the case, head into your side menu and Exit the game. If you revisit this section after that, the console will work. In case you can’t access the console even after doing that, then exit the game and disable DX12. When starting up, pick any non-DX12 options, then interact with the console normally.
