Pokémon Go has announced its latest event called Precious Pals, which brings in-event bonuses, helping you strengthen your bonds with your Buddy Pokémon. The event offers players the chance to earn additional hearts with their Buddy Pokémon, along with a new shiny debut and additional event bonuses.

Event Bonuses
- Additional Candy XL when walking with your Buddy Pokémon.

Shiny Pokémon Debut
Precious Pals event introduces for the first time in Pokémon Go a chance to encounter Shiny Fidough with boosted shiny rates.
Event Exclusive Evolution Requirements
- Evolve Eevee into Sylveon after earning 20 hearts with Eevee as your buddy.
- Evolve Pancham into Pangoro after catching ten Dark-type Pokémon with Pancham as your buddy.
- Evolve Pawmo into Pawmot after exploring 5 km with Pawmo as your buddy.
These Evolution requirements will return to the usual requirements on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Keep an eye out for a special wild spawn in this event Zorua. It is a rare Pokémon that is not available often to try to catch as many as you can. Zorua Disguises as your buddy Pokémon so if you see your buddy Pokémon in the wild it can be Zorua.
