If you want to romance Klara in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, follow a series of key steps spread across two main quests: Back in the Saddle and Finger of God. From your first meeting with Klara as a healer tending to wounded soldiers to helping her solve a poetic riddle, each interaction plays a role in deepening your connection. Along the way, you’ll need to assist injured troops, make the right dialogue choices, and prove your worth through skill-based tasks. If done correctly, this path will lead to a heartfelt romance, culminating in a memorable scene with Klara. Here’s everything you need to know to ensure Henry wins her over.
How to Romance Klara
In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the romance between Henry and Klara develops during the two major quests: Back in the Saddle and Finger of God. In the former, Klara, a healer, is seen healing wounded soldiers; later on, in Finger of God, Henry has to come and assist the soldiers himself. Both quests involve romantic moments, but the latter is brief and fades into black. You must complete key objectives throughout these missions to win Klara’s heart.
Back in the Saddle Quest
The romance with Klara in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 begins during the main quest Back in the Saddle, which takes place shortly after For Whom the Bell Tolls. In this quest, Henry and Hans travel to Nebakov Fortress, where Hans speaks with the commander while Henry senses something unusual. You can meet Klara, the settlement’s herbalist and healer, during this time.
Klara invites you for a walk outside the fortress, where you can impress her by sharing tales of your adventures. At a nearby glade, you can mention your knowledge of herbs, prompting Klara to ask you to gather Marigold, Sage, and Poppies – all conveniently found in the area without needing to stray too far.
Klara Riddle Solution
After giving Klara the herbs, she leads you deeper into the forest. At a clearing, you can express your suspicions about Nebakov Fortress – avoid this choice at all costs, as it will cause her to run away and ruin your chance at a romantic scene.
Instead, go along with the moment, and Klara will present you with a riddle: “I bloom in silence, a petal’s grace. A delicate charm in a hidden place. A whispered scent, a subtle ploy. What am I, elusive and coy?” The correct answer is “Klara.” She’ll be so charmed by Henry’s response that it triggers the first love scene in the forest.
Finger of God Quest
A few hours later, the next stage of Klara’s romance in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 unfolds during the main quest, Finger of God. Henry and his allies return to Nebakov Fortress, now under siege by enemy troops. Before heading into battle, take a moment to speak with Klara, who informs you that several soldiers are wounded. To gain her favor, offer to help treat them.
Healing the Three Injured Soldiers
There are three injured soldiers – Mark, Kozliek, and Zwerk. Before administering aid, you must correctly diagnose their conditions using skill checks for Scholarship, Survival, and Craftsmanship. Choosing the wrong treatments can lower your reputation with Klara, so proceed carefully. It’s also wise to create a manual save beforehand.
To heal Mark, clean his wounds with Schnapps and remind him not to fall asleep. Then, dress his wounds with bandages and give him a Painkiller Brew. For Kozliek, clean his wounds with Schnapps, cauterize them with gunpowder, change his bandages, and provide him with a Fever Tonicum or Digestive Potion.
Finally, to help Zwerk, he cleans his wounds with Schnapps and dresses them with bandages. Then, rub Chamomile Brew on his ankle and have him drink Savior Schnapps. Following these steps correctly will ensure Henry earns Klara’s admiration and keeps the romance on track.
After treating the soldiers, return to Klara and strike up a conversation. You’ll be given two dialogue options: “No walk today, I reckon?” and “Let’s go and get that drink.” Choose the second option to progress the romance. After that, head to her cabin and go to sleep – this will trigger a cutscene where Klara joins Henry for the night.
