The journey of gaining a Tough Cookie Personality requires you to pass a two-step test. First, you need to answer a series of personality questions, where your answers will shape the direction of the next set of questions, followed by a physical challenge in the Forest Test. This guide will discuss how to get the Tough Cookie Personality in Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake.
Tough Cookie Personality Test
If you’re looking for a more defensive option, the Tough Cookie personality is a great choice. It provides the biggest boost to defense while also increasing Strength. Plus, it has a smaller reduction in Agility than the Valiant personality, making a Hero with this personality noticeably faster. You must answer a series of personality questions to unlock the Tough Cookie Personality. There are five “First Questions”. Based on your first question, the next set of questions are asked. Following are the five “First Questions”:

The Forest Test
Once you’ve answered all the questions and are teleported into the Forest Test, you can start pushing the boulder toward the old man by heading left while facing it. Unfortunately, there’s no way to speed up the process except running and skipping the dialogue. So, to unlock the Tough Cookie Personality, you’ll need to push the boulder back and forth 40 times. Don’t worry about keeping track, though – the old man will let you know when you’ve reached your 40th push.
How to Change to Tough Cookie Personality
You can temporarily change the Personality of any of your party members by equipping them with the Weightlifter’s Belt. To get the belt, head to Mini Medal Manor and talk to Morgan Minimann after collecting 35 Mini Medals. You can reach Mini Medal Manor by jumping down a well on the lower-left side of the Aliahan map.
