Season 1 Reloaded brings an exciting addition to the game: a set of 4 elemental Wonder Weapons forged from a powerful melee weapon: the Bastard Sword. These enchanted blades deliver powerful attacks and introduce a dynamic new layer of strategy to your fight against the relentless zombie hordes on the new map.

This guide explores each of the 4 Wonder Weapon Swords, detailing their unique abilities and providing step-by-step instructions on how to unlock them in the game.

Wonder Weapon Sword in BO6 Zombies: The Bastard Sword

The Bastard Sword is a formidable melee weapon, designed to cut through the undead with devastating slashes that leave enemies in shreds. The Bastard Sword also boasts a defensive parry mechanic, allowing it to block incoming projectiles and counter aggressive attacks with precision.

Its true power, however, lies in its ability to evolve into one of four elemental Wonder Weapons. Each form features a devastating special attack and a unique passive ability that becomes increasingly powerful the longer it’s used.

Wonder Weapon Sword in BO6 Zombies – Caliburn: Dragon’s Fire

This sword grants the power to unleash a blazing inferno, engulfing the undead in a fiery vortex while summoning a massive fireball to obliterate everything in its path.

BO6 Zombies: Activate the Pack-a-Punch in Citadelle des Morts

To progress, follow the main quest objectives until you reach the Oubliette Room. Inside the Oubliette Room, a blue shipping crate sits in the center, secured with three locks. Players can either shoot or melee the locks to open it, but be warned: something dangerous lies inside. Upon unlocking the crate, the Doppelghast, a special zombie from Citadelle des Morts, will burst out, accompanied by Parasites that spawn to deal additional projectile damage.

While the Doppelghast doesn’t have excessive health (falling into the same class as Manglers), it is a formidable foe. Fast and deadly, the Doppelghast can quickly overwhelm players both up close and from a distance. It’s recommended to wait until you have an upgraded weapon with Salvage and possibly Jugger-Nog for extra protection before unlocking the crate.

Once the Doppelghast is defeated, it will drop a Blood Aetherium Crystal. Players can take this crystal and interact with the blue crate to spawn Pack-a-Punch. This will be a permanent, stationary spawn, remaining in the same spot for the rest of the game. The Pack-a-Punch costs are as follows:

Tier 1: 5,000 Essence

Tier 2: 15,000 Essence

Tier 3: 30,000 Essence

BO6 Zombies: Obtain the Stamp in Citadelle des Morts

Interact with the wooden door in the Quick Revive Perk-a-Cola room and speak to Kafft. Next, kill a zombie wearing a medieval war helmet to obtain a Stamp. The helmet is a clear indicator of what you need to do, but these zombies won’t have a special health bar, so be sure to call them out when you spot them. After eliminating the helmet-headed zombie, a stamp will drop, just like other droppable items. Be sure to quickly grab it.

BO6 Zombies: Obtain the Bastard Sword and wield the dragon fire.

Then, head to the Dining Hall and interact with the armored statue featuring a dragon on its chest to acquire the Bastard Sword. Then put the Bastard sword inside the Dragon Altar present in the entrance, causing it to glow. This will cause three cauldrons around the map to light up.

The first cauldron is located on the left side of the cannon you used to open the castle. Hold, interact and bring the dragon fire back to the dragon statue. The second cauldron is just outside the left exit of the Town Square. Again, carry the dragon fire back to the dragon statue. Finally, the last cauldron is found in the Town Square. After returning the dragon fire for the final time, you’ll obtain the Caliburn Wonder Weapon.

Wonder Weapon Sword in BO6 Zombies – Solais: Lion of Light

A surge of radiant light flows through you, casting your enemies into the shadows.

How to Get Solais: Lion of Light

• Take the Bastard Sword from the Lion Knight statue in the Dining Hall.
• Melee a glowing Parasite to charge the sword.
• Head to the Speed Cola Perk-a-Cola area and use the charged sword to knock on the door with the lion emblem.
• Repeat this sequence three more times to unlock the room.
• Once inside, shoot the symbols displayed on the podium.
• After completing these steps, you’ll receive the Solais Wonder Weapon.

Wonder Weapon Sword in BO6 Zombies – Durendal: Stag of the Storms

Channel the storm’s wrath, releasing crackling bolts of lightning that stun and disrupt enemies, building up to a devastating lightning beam that incinerates all in its path.

BO6 Zombies: Obtain the Lightning Rods

• Get the sword from the Stag Knight statue in the Dining hall, then head on to acquire three Lightning Rods.
• To obtain the first Lightning Rod, shoot the electrical box near Speed Cola (you may need the Dead Wire Ammo Mod).
• The second Lightning Rod is located to the left of the Deadshot Daiquiri Perk-a-Cola.
• The final Lightning Rod drops from killing a zombie.
• Place all three Lightning Rods into the vase on the right when facing the cannon at the castle entrance.

BO6 Zombies: Obtain the Bastard Stag Sword

• Next, obtain the Bastard Stag Sword (the stamping method is the same as before).
• Interact with the vase to make it spin and spark.
• Survive in the storm it generates near the vase until your sword becomes electrically charged, then melee the vase.
• Repeat this process two more times (for a total of three).
• Finally, interact with the vase again to place your sword inside, and you will acquire the Durendal sword.

Wonder Weapon Sword in BO6 Zombies – Balmung: Raven’s Shadow

Send your decaying foes into the Aetherial void, warping reality with a focused rift that traps and annihilates enemies in the vicinity.

How to Get Balmung: Raven’s Shadow

• Obtain the Sword: Take the sword from the Raven Knight statue.
• Grab the Item: Go to a nearby room and grab a specific item off the shelf. This item will be different for everyone.
• Go to the Spawn: Head back to the Spawn.
• Enter the Bar: Go into the bar next door and then into the basement.
• Use the codex: Plant the item into the center of the codex. 
• Add the Sword: Interact with the codex again to insert the sword into it.
• View Your Item: Look at the item to identify your codex puzzle solution, as your solution will be different from others.
• Understand the Symbols: The inner ring represents the elements (fire, earth, air, water) and the outer rings represent the 12 zodiac signs.
• Align the Symbols: Spin the rings of the codex to align your symbols based on your item (e.g., Leo = fire and Leo symbol, Scorpio = water and Scorpio symbol).

BO6 Zombies: Solving the Codex Puzzle

• Open the Portal: Once the symbols are aligned, the codex will open a portal in the floor downstairs.
• Avoid the Orbs: The codex will start shooting large purple orbs at you. Avoid them as they will explode and damage you.
• Lure the Orbs: The orbs will follow you. Guide them over the voids in the ground to get them to fall in. Be careful as if you touch the balls your health will deplete. 
• Fill the Void: Get three orbs into each of the three voids (one on the bottom floor, one on the middle floor, and one near the pool table).
• Repeat the Process: Each void requires three orbs to be filled. After filling each one, another void will appear.
• Receive the Balmung Sword: Once all three voids are filled and the last orb returns to the basement, you will receive the Balmung Sword.
