Creature Enamel is a sturdy resource used to craft Enameled Glass, which is vital for upgrading vehicles and craft advanced modules in Subnautica 2. This guide shows how to find enamel husks and how to harvest using the sonic resonator so you can start upgrading your vehicle and craft advanced modules.
Finding Enamel Husks

The best way to find any resource is through the Scanner Station, after you reach the Observatory area past the Leviathans, I would recommend building a base so that you don’t have to travel back for resources and then build a scanner station inside the base.

Use the Scanner Station to find the Enamel Husks by selecting the creature enamel resource from the list. This will show the locations of Enamel Husks in a 300m radius on the holo map, mark the location by selecting the orbs on the holo map, this will show a marker on the screen.

Head to the marked location and look for the enamel husks, they look like 3 spines on a base as shown in the above image. Use the sonic resonator to mine them and you’ll get the Creature Enamel.
Crafting Enameled Glass

After you’ve obtained the creature enamel, you’ll unlock the recipe for enameled glass which can be crafted using the fabricator.
