Generating and Steer Light Rays is a good challenging but rewarded quest in BO6, since it requires controlling lights to find elusive Paladin’s Brooch. These crystals are marked in strategic areas, and in the Dining Hall and Alchemical Lab, such areas are used by the player as a means for moving beams of lights. By carefully positioning and adjusting the beams, you will unlock another part of the journey-the initiation stage for the Light Ritual. Walk with me step-by-step in every detail in ensuring you move successfully through this light-filled puzzle.
Generate Light Beams BO6
To uncover the Paladin’s Brooch, head to the Dining Hall and look at the north side, just above the Vulture-Aid. There, you will find a crystal mounted on the wall. Shoot it to redirect the light beam toward another crystal above the doorway connecting the Entrance Hall and Dining Hall.
Direct Light Beams BO6
To direct light beams, stand directly in front of the first crystal and shoot its base to direct the light beam downward.
- Now go to the second floor on the east side of the Dining Hall and shoot the mirror again to redirect the beam to the left. If done correctly, the light beam will hit the second crystal and glow brighter.
- With the light beam now hitting the second crystal, you will need to direct it to another crystal located just above the Lion Knight. To do this, head to the southwest corner of the Dining Hall’s second floor and shoot the base of the crystal to redirect the beam toward the third crystal.
- Next, you will need to redirect the light beam from the third crystal to one inside the Alchemical Lab. To do this, go to the north side of the Dining Hall, face the crystal, and shoot its base to guide the beam into the Alchemical Lab.
- With the beam now in the Alchemical Lab, you will need to redirect it to another crystal located above the Arsenal Workbench. To do this, stand near the room’s exit on the same side as the fourth crystal and shoot its base to aim the beam at the next crystal.
- The final step is to guide the light beam from the last crystal to a table just left of the entrance from the Alchemical Lab to the Dining Hall. Stand near the spot where you redirected the previous beam and shoot the crystal’s base to aim the beam at the table.
This will reveal the Paladin’s Brooch on the table, ready for you to pick up. Once you have it, you can move on to the next objective: starting the Light Ritual in the Dining Hall.
Tips
- Crystals are placed in strategic positions. Take a moment to familiarize yourself with their locations in the Dining Hall and Alchemical Lab before starting.
- Aim for the base of each crystal to ensure the light beam is redirected correctly. Misaligned shots can waste time and require repositioning.
- After each successful redirection, trace the light beam visually to confirm it’s hitting the next target before moving to the next step.
- Some steps require climbing to higher levels or positioning yourself at specific angles. Explore the Dining Hall’s upper floors and corners to find the optimal shooting spots.
- Redirecting beams can be trial-and-error at times. If the beam doesn’t go where expected, reassess your position and adjust your aim slightly.
- Landmarks like the Lion Knight and Arsenal Workbench will guide you to the correct crystals as you progress through the puzzle.
- For the last step, ensure you are standing in the same area used for the previous redirection. This will make it easier to aim the beam onto the table and reveal the Paladin’s Brooch.
