You’ll find the Desert Rain Frog in the very first level, Veiled Sea. After you activate the water sphere that unlocks the chain on the right, look behind the nearby building some kelp will appear that you can use to climb up to the top of the waterfall. From there, follow the cliff path around to the right. You’ll notice some stone platforms sticking out on the left. Head towards the group of four platforms that go downwards, and drop all the way to the lowest one. That’s where the frog is waiting.
Don’t worry about missing any of these collectables; you can always go back to any level using Chapter Select. The frogs are usually found when you take the time to explore every corner and step off the main path, so make sure to look around carefully.
