The Dawnreach Maze Challenge in Crimson Desert is one of the game’s maze type exploration puzzles found in the Dawnreach settlement. Unlike combat trials, it revolves around environmental interaction – using Force Palm to push the leaning towers and placing Engraved Stones in the correct niches to activate the Abyss Cresset. Completing the maze unlocks a fast travel point and an Abyss Artifact. This guide gives a simple, step by step route, where to find each engraved stone and quick tips to finish the challenge reliably.
Dawnreach Maze Challenge Location
This maze is located at the town of Dawnreach in Crimson Desert region, which is to the east from Tashkalp city. The Dawnreach town is under enemy faction, I recommend clearing the enemies first before proceeding with the maze challenge as these enemies use firearms and it’s very annoying. You can do the maze challenge without clearing the enemies, but it’s easier that way.
Obtaining all Engraved Stones
If you get to the west of the Dawnreach, you’ll see that there are 2 leaning towers. These leaning towers block your way to the 2 Engraved Stones that you need to complete the maze challenge. To move the leaning towers you need Force Palm Expertise skill, so i recommend you to learn that skill if you haven’t already.
Head to the roof of the building that is adjacent to the leaning tower, then aim on the wall of the leaning tower and use Force Palm skill 3 times consecutively ( Force Palm Expertise Skill ), this will push the building to its original position.
After you’ve pushed the leaning tower, get down to the ledge in the direction of the leaning tower and you can see that there is a hole on the wall just below the rooftop. Then you climb into the hole and you’ll see a large button inside.
Push the button using Force Palm skill to obtain the first Engraved Stone.
To push the next tower in place, you’d have to use the Force Palm skill from the wooden walkway as shown in the above picture. Then the room is revealed to the right from where you are standing, head inside and push the button to obtain the second Engraved Stone.
Solving the Dawnreach Maze Challenge
Now head to the east of Dawnreach town, you’ll see the final leaning tower. You’d have to push the tower using force palm while standing on the wooden walkway and the hidden room is revealed to your left.
Inside you’ll see two slots in the wall to place the Engraved Stones, which will activate the Abyss Cresset, completing the maze and you can claim the Abyss Artifact.
