Avowed Money Glitch – How to Do

A money glitch in Avowed allows players to acquire infinite wealth by exploiting a bug in the “Nature vs. Nurture” quest. This glitch revolves around repeatedly obtaining the Wolf’s Boots from Amadio by choosing specific dialogue options after completing the quest, specifically by telling him you’ve called off the Rangers without actually doing so. These boots can later be sold profitably, letting players accumulate endless in-game funds. This walk-through will provide the steps of initiating the quest, working through the required dialogues, and finally using the glitch to procure endless money.

How to Do the Money Glitch in Avowed

To get the infinite money glitch, you have to complete the  Nature vs. Nurture quest, where, in the end, you will get the Wolf’s Boots from Amadio an infinite number of times. You just don’t have to attack him and tell him that you have called off the Rangers as many times as you want, and he will give you the Wolf’s Boots every time you have told him.

Then you can sell the Wolf’s Boots to the market and get money. This is actually a bug that is present in the game, which lets you get as many Wolf’s Boots as you want and then sell them to get the money. You have to also take care that you don’t talk with any NPCs outside the quest.

Nature vs. Nurture quest

To start the Nature vs. Nurture quest, head northeast of Farmer’s Market in the southeastern part of Emerald Stair. There, outside a house on top of a slope, you’ll meet Dolina and Masco Laima. They’ll explain that their farm equipment has been destroyed by a group of xaurips, though the creatures themselves are not aggressive.

Investigating the Xaurip Camp

Dolina asks for your help in investigating a xaurip camp in the swamps to the northwest. To find it, head to the far northwest of the region, just northeast of the Grim Wetlands text on your map. Upon arrival, you’ll notice that all the xaurips in the camp remain passive. Make your way up the wooden walkway and climb the ledges to reach a cave entrance at the top.

Meeting Amadio and His Beliefs

Inside the cave, you meet Amadio, who tells you that he has a symbiotic relationship with the xaurips. He shields them, and in exchange, they help him pursue his ambitions. He’s convinced that the animancer machines have irritated the Dreamscourge, which is why the attacks are happening on land.

According to him, destroying these machines will not only keep the xaurips from becoming dangerous but also prevent further Dreamscourge disturbances. At this point, you can consult your companions, Marius agrees with Amadio’s reasoning, while Kai is skeptical. You’ll then have to decide whether to support or oppose Amadio’s methods.

Supporting Amadio and Convincing the Rangers

If you side with Amadio, you can tell him, “You’re just trying to protect the land. I support that.” Pleased with your response, he asks you to convince the rangers to call off their patrols. Leaving the cave, you’ll return to Dolina and Masco. You have the option to either honestly persuade them to stop the patrols or deceive them using the [Lie] dialogue option.

If you convince them peacefully, Dolina reluctantly agrees to work without animancy. When you return to Amadio with the news, he rewards you with the unique Wolf Boots, and the quest concludes with 254 XP. If you use the [Lie] option, Dolina still rewards you, but this time with the Ring of Pain Amplification. You can then return to Amadio and inform him that the rangers are gone, but you still receive the Wolf Boots.
