This guide gives you everything needed to clear Windrose’s Ancient Ruins efficiently and craft the Survivor’s Clothing without wasting time. You’ll get exact chest locations for the ancient ruins and the typical enemy spawns. Follow this guide to find and open 3 ancient chests hidden across these ruins while also gathering resources required to craft the complete Survivor’s Clothing.
Ancient Ruins Location

Head to this location on the map as shown in the above image, you’ll reach the ancient ruins. This place will be crawling with wild boars, I would recommend clearing them because they are relentless and also killing them gives you a rough hide, which you are going to need if you’re looking to craft the survivor’s clothing.
Treasure Chest 1

Head to the marked room in the ruins as shown in the above picture, you’ll notice the ancient chest lying on the ground in the open.
Treasure Chest 2

Then turn right from the first treasure chest and head towards the highlighted area as depicted in the above picture.

You’ll notice that it’s covered under the debris, you’d need a pickaxe to break the debris to claim the contents inside the ancient chest.
Treasure Chest 3

Now, backtrack a bit and turn left, you’ll notice a wall that has gaps between and looks fragile. Break the wall using the pickaxe and you’ll find the final ancient chest inside. While you’re there, claim the Medicinal Herbs from the ancient basket to the left.
Crafting Survivor’s Clothing
Since you’ve cleared the ruins, you must have gotten the rough hides from killing the wild boars. You can use these to craft the Survivor’s Clothing.

But to craft the survivor clothing, you need to build the Armor and Clothing Workshop first and it must be under a roof to be able to use it. So, if you haven’t built a home yet, now’s the best time to do it. You can check out prebuilt structures that you can build in the build mode, you just need lots of plant fiber.

Once you’ve built the Armor and Clothing Workshop inside the home, use the workshop to craft the Survivor Clothing. You are going to need about 11 rough hides and 10 fabrics to craft the complete set or survivor clothing which include boots, gloves, bandana, pants and jacket.
