    All Sidearm Locations

The Mortal Shell 2 game features 8 Sidearms in total, which can be acquired during gameplay. Luckily, there are no missable Sidearms in the game. Even after defeating the last boss, you can roam around the open world and acquire any Sidearm that you might have missed before starting New Game+.

    Naylshotte

Naylshotte is a projectile explosive weapon that produces an explosion upon attacking enemies using it. It is acquired during the Prologue, in the fight against UnderMether. To acquire the weapon, all you need to do is equip Harros the Vassal Shell during the fight. Once you do, you will receive the Naylshotte.

    Troubadour’s Lute

Troubadour’s Lute is a ranged weapon which requires Resolve for ammo and deals damage from a distance to enemies. It is available in the One-Legged Wolf Tavern in Fainweald. The weapon is available on the left side of the stage.

In order to access it, start from Mushroom Village and then move towards the bridge which is north of Mushroom Village Gate. Move ahead along the path and keep cleansing the path until you find the One-Legged Wolf Beacon.

After reaching the One-Legged Wolf Beacon, move a bit ahead, and you will reach the One-Legged Wolf Tavern. Enter the tavern and head to the left side of the stage to find the Troubadour’s Lute.

    Forgotten Crossbow

The Forgotten Crossbow is a ranged weapon that uses Resolve as ammunition. The weapon is found in a chapel in the Flooded Village dungeon. To access the weapon, go to the Blackridge Pass Beacon and move south until you get to the long wooden bridge. Move forward to an area where there are two Tempestresses and Hoodmen.

Move forward from there and go to the second elevator, where you will have access to the underground village area. When in the area, move to the back-left corner of the area. There should be a box located somewhere near the house; open the box and retrieve the Damp Key.

Proceed back to the middle of the area, and there will be a building where the Damp Key will help you open it; there you will find the Forgotten Crossbow.

    Salvaged Trebuchaxe

Salvaged Trebuchaxe is a ranged weapon with moderate damage. In order to obtain this item, it is necessary to buy the map Salvaged Trebuchaxe at the price of 480 Coins from Merrick at the Marrow Keep location.

Having the map, you should go south from the Gloomshade Grove Beacon and find the Ravaged Hideout dungeon, but in order to enter it, it is necessary to defeat the boss Bloodcursed Lithopod first. After entering the dungeon, just follow the path and obtain the desired item from the body in the last room.

    Ballistazooka

Ballistazooka is one of the ranged weapons, which allows you to deal medium damage to your opponents from a distance. You can obtain this weapon by buying the Ballistazooka map from Merrick in Marrow Keep, who sells it for 500 coins.

From the Mammon Beacon Gate, take the northwestern direction and walk up until you find the first staircase to go up. From there, turn right on the first floor and keep walking until you enter the indoor area.

Search for the staircase that will take you to the dungeon of the Sentry’s Grave. Walk to the end of the dungeon and beat the miniboss Subjugated Guardian. After that, you will get the Ballistazooka automatically.

    Cursed Child

The Cursed Child is a ranged weapon used to attack enemies from afar and deliver medium damage. In order to obtain it, first buy the Cursed Child map from Merrick at Marrow Keep for 650 Coins. Go to the Sester’s Gate Beacon and use the stairs that lead in the northwest direction.

Move to the spot where the rolling enemy is located and then proceed to the western platform. From there, move to the next ledge where you will see the Bone Gate.

Move north along the way and pass the enemy with the hammer. The entrance to the Revered Beacon dungeon will be located to the right of your position. Inside the dungeon, avoid the golden light coming out of the tower at the centre of the location, as it will start following you constantly until you hide behind the wall. The light can attack enemies but cannot damage them quickly.

To get to the weapon, walk around the area in an anti-clockwise direction before climbing the hill that leads to the tower. After getting there, attack the centre pillar in order to deactivate the golden light. Once this is done, you can now approach the area to retrieve the Cursed Child.

    Caged Hystrix

The Caged Hystrix is a long-range weapon which gives you the ability to hit your enemies with moderate damage from afar. First of all, in order to get this item, you should buy the Caged Hystrix map from Merrick in Marrow Keep.

The price of this map is 650 Coins. Having bought the map, go southeast from the Silent Steps Beacon and look for a large stone platform where you will face the miniboss Sariel, the Endless.

Having defeated Sariel the first time, he will proceed through the walls to the south and create an entrance to the dungeon of Chamber of Becoming. Follow him and defeat him again. At the last battle, Sariel will try to resurrect himself by means of four tombstones in the room.

Remember to destroy all four tombstones so that Sariel will not be able to resurrect himself anymore. Having defeated him and all four tombstones, proceed upstairs. You will find Caged Hystrix near the dungeon exit.

    Triarch Repeater

Triarch Repeater is a ranged weapon which allows you to attack your enemies at long range and cause moderate damage to them. It is available in the Blackwell Cavern dungeon. Once you enter the dungeon, make use of the elevator going downwards, and then proceed forward while fighting the enemies.

Continue advancing forward until you get to the last area. You will be sure about reaching the right place when all the Wraiths have been killed in the room. Look near the corpse for the Triarch Repeater.

Finding all the sidearms will unlock the Guns, Lots of Guns Trophy, which is another achievement to add to your collection.
