Finding all ten Science Adventures Quarterly magazines in The Outer Worlds 2 is necessary for completing the “In Pursuit of Purloined Propaganda” side quest. To help you find each of these collectibles in an efficient manner, we will go through the locations for each magazine across Westport and the islands of Paradise. Collecting all of the magazines will unlock the “SA Quarterlies Quantified!” achievement and unlock valuable rewards from Quesnel.
All Science Adventures Quarterly Magazine Locations
Volume 1
The first magazine is located in a rundown house in the western side of the flooded residential area in Westport. This area is filled with Raptodons, so it is best to clear the Raptodons out before you head into the house. From the Westport fast travel point, continue north up the road, and the house will be the first one on your left.
Volume 2
Travel to the far south of the southern island of Paradise, and search for the fisherman’s house. There is no electricity here, so you’ll need to activate the power plant to the northern hill to the north of the dock house before opening the dock house door.
Volume 3
This one is on a table sitting near the docks just northeast of the Ministry of Accuracy. It’s easy to miss, sitting to the left of the steps of the entrance to the Ministry of Accuracy, before you get to the dock house.
Volume 4
Check the dock on the southeastern edge of the northern island. You can reach it by taking the elevator south of the Vox Relay bridge, or by hopping across the rocks from the northwest corner of the southern island.
Volume 5
This issue is tucked inside a hut west of the Bridge of the Reverent, the bridge connecting both islands. From Fairfield, head north and then west along the road, or approach directly from the Ministry of Accuracy if you’ve discovered it.
Volume 6
Search the fishing hut across the bay from the Paradise Island Landing Pad. Travel from either Fairfield or the Landing Pad, following the coastline until you reach the hut. The magazine is lying on a bed inside.
Volume 7
Found on a farmhouse table in the central part of the northern island. Enemies are abundant here, so move carefully. You can reach the area by traveling northeast from the Skycutter station or northwest from the Protectorate Bridge.
Volume 8
Make your way to the Crabbing Tower along the island’s western coastline. Use the ladder on the east side to climb to the top control room, where you’ll find the magazine waiting.
Volume 9
Look for a house west of the Crabble Spawning Grounds, sitting on a hill south of Sovereign’s Sweet Spire Grove (now under Auntie’s Choice control). Avoid heading in from the Spawning Grounds — there’s no path. Instead, move west from Fairfield to the Grove, then turn south and climb up the hill.
Volume 10
The last issue rests on an outdoor table near the northwestern docks of the northern island. You can reach it by going northwest from the Skycutter power station, or by traveling north from the Drop Pod Landing Zone.
