In Phantom Blade Zero, one of the first places where you can explore is called Weeping Creek Valley. There are many different collectable items in Weeping Creek Valley, such as Bells, Chests, Keys, Cranks, Shards, Accessories, and Weapons. There are a total of 61 collectable items in this location, and some of these are quite easy to find. This guide will show you where to find every collectable in Weeping Creek Valley so you don’t miss anything.
Weeping Creek Valley Collectables
Weeping Creek Valley is the first area that you will explore in Phantom Blade Zero. This area has 61 collectable items. There are 21 Bells, 7 Chest and Item locations, 4 Keys and Cranks, 4 Sha-Chi Amber Shards, 4 Blackstone Shards, 8 Accessories, and 7 Weapons & Phantom Edges.
Bell – The Beginning
Once you have reached the Weeping Creek Valley, talk to the injured man near the starting point in the water. After that, go to the indicated rock and then head along the main story route, where you will get The Beginning bell.
Bell – The Lady’s Rift
Following The Beginning bell, walk along the main road until a brief cutscene plays out with wooden platforms above you. Climb onto the wooden platforms and climb up the ladder. After you complete the wall-climbing sequence, continue to move ahead until you reach an opening in the rocks to your right. Descend the ladder to locate The Lady’s Rift bell.
Accessory – Hunter’s Insight
From the bell in The Lady’s Rift, climb up again using the ladder. Go through the section where you follow the wall and cross the chain. There will be an enemy right after that chain; defeat him for Hunter’s Insight.
Weapon – Sanguine Twin
Starting at the first meeting point with Yu’er, climb up the wall that has been marked. After passing the big waterwheel, head to the waterfall where Sanguine Twin will be seen next to the ladder for the First Meeting with Yu’er bell.
Bell – First Meeting with Yu’er
Start from the first meeting place of Yu’er and climb the wall with markings. After crossing the big wheel of water, head to the waterfall. You will find a ladder near the waterfall. Climbing the ladder, you will get to the bell of the First Meeting with Yu’er.
Accessory – Battle Wraps
Go through your first encounter with Yu’er Bell and then follow the primary road and bridge until you find some enemies. Among these enemies, there will be one that carries a big sword. Kill this enemy to get Battle Wraps.
Bell – Red Thread Barrier
Starting from the point of first encounter with Yu’er Bell, go straight on the main road till you reach the group of enemies and proceed further to the next waterfall. A left turn followed by another left turn will get you to the Red Thread Barrier bell at the waterfall location.
Bell – Broken Puppet Valley
Start with the Red Thread Barrier bell and move past the chain ahead of you. Then take the trail until you find the swampy village. Move past the enemies and then go toward the clearing in front of a house. That’s where the Broken Puppet Valley bell is located.
Sha-Chi Amber Shard
Start at the Broken Puppet Valley bell and head towards the nearby area where an enemy is guarding a chest. Defeat the enemy to remove the red thread barrier, then open the chest to collect the first Sha-Chi Amber Fragment.
Weapon – Jagged Steel
From the Red Thread Barrier bell, clear the barrier and continue through the waterfall. You’ll reach an arena on the other side, where you’ll have to fight The Frenzied Brute. Defeat the boss to obtain Jagged Steel.
Bell – Rustblade Pavilion
The Rustblade Pavilion bell is located at the bottom of the stairs inside The Frenzied Brute’s arena. You’ll reach this area after clearing the red thread barrier and passing through the waterfall. Defeat The Frenzied Brute first, then activate the bell in the arena.
Sha-Chi Amber Shard
From the Rustblade Pavilion bell, climb the stairs and follow the marked climbing surfaces along the rocks. Keep following the path until you reach an area with several crates, where enemies will ambush you. Defeat them to receive the second Sha-Chi Amber Fragment.
Bell – Outpost Courtyard
From the Rustblade Pavilion bell, climb the stairs and follow the marked climbing surfaces along the rocks. Continue past the area where enemies ambush you near the crates. You’ll then reach a section where the game introduces crouching through tall grass. Clear the enemies in the open area beyond it to find the Outpost Courtyard bell.
Purge the Sect Quest
You can start the Purge the Sect tale by speaking to the Brooding Old Archer on the rooftop of one of the buildings in the Outpost. Make sure you accept and complete this tale before defeating the main boss at the end of the Crimson Forest region. Otherwise, the quest will automatically fail, and you’ll miss it.
Bell – Outpost
Start from the Outpost Courtyard bell and head towards the main gates. Speak with the guards to enter the settlement. Once inside, look for Forge. You’ll find the Outpost bell opposite her, slightly to the right.
Weapon – Sanguine Reach
Head to the Outpost and speak with Forge. You’ll find Sanguine Reach on the weapon rack directly behind her. Simply pick it up to add the weapon to your collection.
Blackstone Shard
You can find the Cell Key in the upper section of the Outpost. Starting from the bell, climb the stairs and turn right through the archway. Go through the house and continue climbing until you reach the highest level.
From the Outpost bell, return to the settlement’s main entrance and head down the slope beside the gates. You’ll find a locked cell door below. Use the Cell Key to open it and collect the Blackstone Fragment inside.
Weapon – Dread Axe
Start from the Outpost bell and take the stairs leading towards the boss arena. You’ll encounter Axemaster Peng Meng there. Defeat him to automatically receive the Dread Axe.
Bell – The Axemaster’s Fall
From the Outpost bell, climb the stairs leading towards Axemaster Peng Meng’s arena. Defeat him and activate the bell in the middle of the arena to unlock The Axemaster’s Fall.
Sha-Chi Amber Shard
Head to the Outpost and look for the chained barrier beside two guards, opposite Forge. Use the Dread Axe to break the barrier, then climb up to the house beyond it. Defeat the enemy inside to collect the third Sha-Chi Amber Fragment.
Apprentice Healer Quest
You can start the Apprentice Healer tale by speaking to Yu’er near the Outpost Bell. Ask her about collecting herbs to begin the quest. Completing this tale is also required to unlock the A Healer’s Legacy trophy. Make sure you finish the quest before defeating Jing Ye, The Outlaw, in the Crimson Forest region. Otherwise, the tale will automatically fail, and you’ll miss the trophy.
Bell – The Axemaster’s Holding Cell
Start from The Axemaster’s Fall bell and break the barricade at the arena’s exit using the Dread Axe. Follow the mountain path upwards until you trigger a cutscene with The Hunt. After the cutscene, look for the bell near the table and activate it.
Accessory – Boulderguard
Start from the Axemaster’s Holding Cell Bell and follow the walkway ahead until you reach a grave. Interact with it to investigate and collect the Boulderguard accessory. However, you’ll only get the option to investigate the grave if you’ve spoken to the NPC at the Outpost earlier.
Make sure you talk to this NPC before defeating the main boss at the end of the Crimson Forest region. If you miss this conversation, the option to investigate the grave won’t appear, and you won’t be able to obtain Boulderguard.
Medicine – Focus Pill
From the Axemaster’s Holding Cell bell, head down the steps and take the path on your left. You’ll come across a barricade that you can break with the Dread Axe. Destroy it and climb up to the lookout above. Open the chest on your left to collect the Focus Pill.
Bell – Creek Valley Plains Entrance
From the Axemaster’s Holding Cell bell, follow the descending path towards the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and defeat the shielded enemies on the other side. Use the Dread Axe to break the barricade beyond them. Continue along the main path and cross the next bridge. You’ll find the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell beside a locked gate.
Bell – Ruthless Archer Camp
Start from the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell and head uphill towards the archer camp. Defeat the enemies and climb the stairs beside the chest containing the Token of Pursuit. Keep going upwards to find the Ruthless Archer Camp bell at the top.
Blackstone Shard + Broken-String Bow (Phantom Edge)
Start from the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell and head uphill towards the archer camp. You’ll need to defeat all the archers in the area, including those standing on the raised platforms. The last archer will drop the Blackstone Fragment along with the Broken-String Bow.
Accessory – Token of Pursuit
Start from the Ruthless Archer Camp bell and head down the stairs into the archer camp. Look for a chest beside the bottom of the stairs. Open it to collect the Token of Pursuit.
Phantom Edge – Feather Bow
First, head to the archer camp above the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell. Defeat the archers in the area to obtain the Broken-String Bow. Next, take the bow to the Brooding Old Archer, who can be found on the rooftop of the small hut at the Outpost, near Forge. If you haven’t started his request yet, speak with him first. Give him the Broken-String Bow, and he’ll repair it to unlock the Feather Bow.
Bell – Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor
From the Ruthless Archer Camp bell, go down the stairs and follow the main path across the large wooden bridge. Defeat the enemies waiting on the other side, then climb the stairs behind them. You’ll find the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor bell beside the furnace building.
Phantom Edge – Scarlet Wraithblade
Start from the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor bell and go around the outside of the furnace. You’ll find a broken wooden bridge that you can slide down. Head below and defeat the enemies in the area, then follow the uphill path to reach Hua’s arena. Defeat Hua to receive the Scarlet Wraithblade.
Bell – Flesh Lily Fields
Start from the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor bell and go around the furnace. Slide down the broken wooden bridge and follow the uphill path beyond the enemies until you reach Hua’s arena. Defeat Hua and activate the bell in the middle of the area to unlock Flesh Lily Fields.
Bell – Valley Sha-Chi Tower Summit
Start from the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor bell and enter the furnace building. Take the stairs at the back right and climb the marked wall. Continue moving upwards through the building until you reach the roof. You’ll find the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Summit bell beside the Shadow Warden.
Bell – Waterfall Bridge
From the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Summit bell, climb onto the higher roof beyond the Shadow Warden. Follow the marked climbing surfaces and cross the pipe. Turn left and climb down the long ladder. Defeat the enemy waiting below to receive the Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank. After that, descend the next ladder to find the Waterfall Bridge bell near the bridge.
Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank Key Item
Start from the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Summit Bell and climb onto the roof. Look for a ladder on your left and climb down. You’ll find an enemy waiting below. Defeat him to obtain the Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank.
Bell – Great Waterfall
From the Waterfall Bridge bell, cross the bridge and follow the path through the cave. Complete the wall-running section to reach the Great Waterfall bell, which is located just before The Hunt’s waterfall arena.
Accessory – Lingran’s Pendant
From the Beginning bell, head back towards the opening area. Follow the water past the wounded man and continue underneath the hanging horse. You’ll find a grapple point ahead. Use the Hunter’s Chain Sickle to reach the raised platform, then open the chest to collect Lingran’s Pendant.
Bell – Long Pillar Overlook
Start from the Creek Valley Plains Entrance bell and unlock the gate on your left using the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Gate Key. Follow the path downhill towards the mechanism, then head uphill towards the fire. Turn right, pass underneath the pipe, and continue through the settlement. You’ll find the Long Pillar Overlook bell inside a small hut beside the bridge.
Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Key
Start from the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Summit Bell and climb onto the roof. Use the Hunter’s Chain Sickle to grapple your way to the highest platform, where you’ll find the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Gate Key. You can use this key to unlock the gate beside the Creek Valley Plains Entrance Bell and access the optional area.
Rusted Loong Key
You’ll find the Rusted Loong Key inside a chest directly behind the Long Pillar Overlook Bell. Open the chest to collect it.
Sha-Chi Amber Shard
Start from the Long Pillar Overlook Bell and cross the bridge. Follow the path past the campfire until you reach the wall-running section. Once you get past it, you’ll find a cave door. Use the Rusted Loong Key to unlock it and defeat the enemies inside to receive the final Sha-Chi Amber Fragment.
Bell – Weeping Creek Long Pillar
From the Long Pillar Overlook bell, cross the bridge and follow the path through the wall-running section. You’ll find a cave door beyond it. Use the Rusted Loong Key to unlock the door. Defeat the enemies inside and break the barricade at the far end using the Dread Axe. The Weeping Creek Long Pillar bell is outside, beside the large dragon statue. Challenge – Long Pillar + Accessory – Counterstrike Bracers
You’ll find the tower right beside the Weeping Creek Long Pillar Bell. The challenge here is quite difficult, so you don’t need to complete it during your first visit.
Accessory – Medicine Case
Head to the Outpost and find Yu’er standing beside Forge. Speak with her about gathering herbs to start the Apprentice Healer request. You’ll need to collect three herbs: Blood-Stopper Vine, Congealeaf, and Blemish Goldweed. Once you have all three, return to Yu’er and hand them over to receive the Medicine Case.
Blackstone Shard
From the Long Pillar Overlook bell, cross the bridge and follow the path until you reach a large boulder near the wall-running section. Instead of continuing through the wall-running area, drop down into the settlement below. Head towards the waterfall and deal with the enemies nearby. Use the Hunter’s Chain Sickle to grapple onto the wooden platform above. Open the chest there to collect the third Blackstone Fragment.
Blackstone Shard
Start from the Long Pillar Overlook bell and head back through the settlement. Pass the pipes and make your way towards the furnace area with the red lift housing. Climb over the gears and follow the stairs upwards. You’ll find a group of enemies near the top. Defeat them to receive the final Blackstone Fragment.
Bell – Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base
From the Long Pillar Overlook bell, head back through the settlement and pass the pipes until you reach the furnace area. Climb over the gears and follow the stairs upwards. Clear the enemies near the top, then follow the path around the back of the large furnace to find the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base bell.
Accessory – Reflex Device
Start from the Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base bell and look for the nearby furnace mechanism. Use the Sha-Chi Furnace Inspection Crank to activate it and open the hatch. Collect the Reflex Device from inside, then retrieve the crank so you can use it again later.
Bell – Crimson Manor
Start from the Long Pillar Overlook bell and head back through the settlement. Pass the pipes and make your way towards the furnace area with the red lift housing. You’ll find an explosive enemy near the stairs. Lure it towards the blocked entrance so its explosion destroys the obstruction and opens the way forward. Take the lift down and follow the path towards the manor. The Crimson Manor bell is on your right as you approach the building.
Accessory – Ancient Armor Fragment
From the Crimson Manor bell, turn left and head into the garden. Walk past the large dead tree, and you’ll find a glowing item beyond it. Pick it up to collect the Ancient Armor Fragment.
Bell – The Lady’s Cave
Start from the Outpost Bell and cross the bridge that was previously blocked by NPCs. Head into the small town and climb onto the building on your left. Break the barricade to enter the cave, then follow the path inside until you reach an open room. You’ll find The Lady’s Cave Bell there.
Accessory – Shenji’s Ring
From The Lady’s Cave Bell, follow the path until you exit the cave. You’ll find a chest on your right containing Shenji’s Ring. You can also interact with one of the nearby pinwheels to collect the Colorful Pinwheel key item.
Memory Flower
Start from the Crimson Manor Bell and open the door to enter the building. Head up to the second floor and check the balcony. You’ll find the Memory Flower there.
Bell – Scavenger Pens
From the previous collectible, head back down to the first floor and make your way underground. Keep going until you reach a wooden platform, where you’ll find the Bell.
Hunter’s Chain Sickle
From the Great Waterfall bell, enter the nearby arena inside the waterfall pool. You’ll find The Hunt waiting there. Defeat him to automatically receive the Hunter’s Chain Sickle.
This weapon also lets you grapple onto additional platforms, allowing you to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. You’ll need it to collect Lingran’s Pendant and the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp Gate Key.
