Prospecting is a Roblox game set in a large, resource-rich world filled with unique locations, rare ores, tools, and plenty of NPCs. These NPCs aren’t just for show; they offer quests that can quickly boost your money and EXP. Most have at least one task for you, and the best part is many of them can be completed just by doing your usual panning and resource gathering, so you’ll make steady progress without going too far out of your way.
All Quest NPC Locations
Rubble Creek Sands
Your journey kicks off here with John, who walks you through the basics of panning and resource collection.
- Getting Started – Wrap up the tutorial, and John will give you $500 and 25 Shards.
- Rubble Creek Collection – Pick up 30 pieces of Gold, 3 Amethyst gems, and 10 Platinum, then craft a Gold Ring. Completing this will net you $25,000, 40 Shards, and 500 EXP.
- New Deposits – Hunt down 20 Platinum, 5 Titanium, and a single Topaz to walk away with $60,000, 50 Shards, and 2,000 EXP.
Not far from John is the Trader, who specializes in valuable gem deliveries:
- Special Order [1] – Hand over a single Ruby and you’ll pocket $30,000, along with 25 Shards and 2,000 EXP.
- Special Order [2] – Bring 1 Emerald for $60,000, 75 Shards, 10,000 EXP, and a 10% Sell Boost.
- Special Order [3] – Hand over 1 Diamond for $1,000,000, 200 Shards, 25,000 EXP, and another 10% Sell Boost.
Rubble Creek Deposits
Here, the quests get more challenging and rewarding.
- Engineer – Repairing the Generator requires 1 Iridium and 1 Osmium, paying out $1,000,000, 200 Shards, and 30,000 EXP.
- Fisherman – In the River Cleaning quest, you’ll need to gather 200 Gold, 25 Jade, and 75 Platinum. Completing it rewards you with $300,000, 200 Shards, and 15,000 EXP.
- Tired Prospector – His first challenge requires 5 Lapis Lazuli, 1 Opal, and 1 Emerald, paying out $250,000, 200 Shards, and 20,000 EXP. The second challenge calls for 10 Meteoric Iron, 1 Rose Gold, and 2 Osmium, with a hefty reward of $3,000,000, 500 Shards, and 50,000 EXP.
- Archaeologist – For the Mysterious Altar task, simply enchant your pan once and you’ll bag $250,000, 250 Shards, and 10,000 EXP.
Sunset Beach
The coastline holds two very different jobs.
- Lightkeeper – Restoring the Lighthouse asks for 1 Luminum. Finishing it grants $3,000,000, 300 Shards, 100,000 EXP, and the unique Lighthouse Blessing.
- Pirate – In Heart of the Sea, you’ll need to collect 1 Golden Pearl, 20 Corals, and 5 Silver Clamshells. Completing it earns you $200,000, 100 Shards, and 10,000 EXP.
Crystal Cavern
Deep underground, the challenges scale up.
- Botanist – In The Seed of Light, you’ll need to deliver 1 Prismara, a rare and valuable item. Completing it rewards you with $50,000,000, 1,000 Shards, and 200,000 EXP.
- Head Researcher – Cavern Research involves gathering 10 Borealite, 80 Azuralite, and 1 Starshine for $5,000,000, 500 Shards, and 100,000 EXP.
Fortune River Delta
- Old Prospector – Mesmerizing Red is a straightforward but rare hunt for 1 Painite, paying $25,000,000, 750 Shards, and 100,000 EXP.
