All Good, Bad, and Secret Endings in Tainted Grail

Tainted Grail is where your decisions determine the destiny of Avalon, a kingdom surrounded by the Weirdness. On your final journey, you have to choose what to do with King Arthur’s soul. The choice results in varying endings. In this guide, we will take you through all the good, bad, secret, and character-specific endings, so you realize the significance of your last decision.

All Endings in Tainted Grail

In Tainted Grail exists a world caught between death and life. Your choice of what to do with Arthur’s soul determines the destiny of Avalon.

1. The Weaver Ending (Good Ending)

By uncovering the truth buried in the Weirdness and returning Arthur to where he truly belonged, you end the cycle of pain and close the wound in the world. The Red Death is halted, the heart of the Four Dweller stops bleeding, and Avalon enters a new era, where the Weirdness is no longer feared but understood.

2. The Orrin Ending (Sacrifice Ending)

You give everything to restore the King. Through your sacrifice, Arthur returns whole, ascends to the throne once more, and rules again. Whether this brings salvation or ruin is uncertain, but your death is marked by peace and the certainty of your choice.

3. Take the Power for Yourself (Secret/Neutral Ending)

You reject all others and claim Arthur’s power as your own. You don’t become Arthur you rule as yourself, flawed but resolute. Avalon changes under your hand, for better or worse, and history will judge your reign.

4. Give It to Another (Multi-ending Path)

Instead of using Arthur’s power for yourself, you can give it to another person, shaping Avalon’s future through your chosen successor. This path has multiple endings based on your selection of person whom you gave Arthur’s Soul:

1. Captain Breandan Ending

A secular Avalon focused on autonomy and trade. Faith declines, progress grows, and ambition rises.

2. Erfyr the Blacksmith Ending

A society without rulers, where all contribute equally. Old elites who want to influence from the shadows.

3. Lord Yvain Ending

A failed leader leads to chaos and disillusionment.

4. One Eye Ending

The round table is dissolved; Avalon unifies under Dal Rita law. Tribal strength rises, but not without turmoil.

5. Gerf’hanr Ending

A shift in power to Matar Mines; unification attempts succeed in part, but Camelot resists change.

6. Fionola Ending

Avalon embraces the Weirdness. A new life begins, but not all are willing to give up their humanity.

7. Self / Child of Morgan Ending

Avalon falls under total control. Peace and order reign, but so does tyranny.

8. Beggar Ending (Secret Bad Ending)

A very bad ending. You give Arthur’s soul to a beggar, a final insult to fate. With no direction, Avalon crumbles into ruin.
