All Ducks (GA-KO Collectable Locations) in Metal Gear Solid 3: Delta Snake Eater (2025 Remake)

In Metal Gear Solid 3: Delta Snake Eater (2025 Remake), there are 64 GA-KO ducks hidden throughout the game. These collectable ducks are usually tucked away in tricky spots, blending into the environment, so you’ll need to keep a sharp eye out. Shooting each one counts as collecting it. This guide will show you all the GA-KO duck locations so you don’t miss any along the way.

All Ducks (GA-KO Collectible Locations)

The GA-KO is a little doll based on a cartoon duck, usually shown standing proudly. If you unlock the GA-KO camo, it’s covered in colorful smiling duck faces on a white background. It doesn’t really help with camouflage, but it does have one special perk: it lets you hear Kerotans calling out, which makes them easier to find. There are 64 GA-KO ducks to find in Metal Gear Solid 3: Delta Snake Eater (2025 Remake). If you manage to shoot them all, you’ll unlock the “It’s Duck Season” trophy/achievement along with a special reward the AT-Camo (Ghillie Suit).

Dremuchij

Dremuchij South, Dremuchij Swampland, and Dremuchij North are three connected zones you will explore in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The whole place is a thick, wild forest sitting on the edge of a tall cliff. The middle section is a swampy area crawling with Indian gavials. The mud here is especially tricky; it is so deep and sticky that people often call it a “bottomless swamp,” since moving through it on foot can be pretty dangerous.

1. Ga-Ko

Once you’ve picked up your backpack, head back to the starting point of the area. From there, take the slope on the east side to climb up to the top. When you’re standing in front of the tree where your backpack was, turn left and you’ll spot both collectables sitting on a rock.

2. GA-KO

You’ll find this one on the little island in the middle of the swamp, right between the trees.

3. GA-KO

This one is just behind the tree with a fruit on it, sitting on a log next to a rock.

4. Ga-Ko

Right after you enter this area, head forward into the bigger clearing with grass patches and trees. On your left, you’ll spot some stumps and logs arranged like a little shelter. Both the Kerotan and the Ga-Ko are sitting there.

5. Ga-Ko

After the cutscene with The Boss, check the wreckage of the crashed plane. Look up at the burnt tree nearby, you’ll see the Ga-Ko sitting right on top.

6. Ga-Ko

As soon as you enter the swamp, stand on the middle island. From there, look over to the left, you’ll notice a fallen tree, and that’s where the Ga-Ko is hiding.

7. Ga-Ko

Back where the game began, you’ll see a big goat wandering around. Face south toward the cliffs and check the rocks. The Ga-Ko is perched there, blending in with some grey camo.

Dolinovodno

Dolinovodno is a forested region in Tselinoyarsk, USSR. The area is split in half by a deep chasm, which is likely where it gets its name. A rough rope bridge stretches across the gap, allowing Soviet soldiers to move between here and Dremuchij to the south.

1. Ga-Ko

Once you’ve crossed the bridge, look straight ahead. On a rocky platform next to a tree, above some grass, you’ll see the duck. It’s got camo on its body, so the yellow face is the easiest thing to notice.

2. Ga-Ko

Right below that Kerotan, on the same set of rocks, you’ll find the duck. It blends in a bit with the plants on the rocks, so look carefully.

Rassvet

Rassvet is an abandoned factory area in Tselinoyarsk, USSR. It sits about three miles west of the OKB-754 Design Bureau and plays an important role as one of the early locations you will visit in the game.

1. Ga-Ko

From that same ruined building, head around to the back, toward the left of where you normally meet Sokolov. You will find some crates here. Look at the back side of the crates. Ga-Ko is kept on a shelf.

2. Ga-Ko

This one’s on the roof of the building where you first meet Eva. It’s perched on a corner support beam. You can either shoot it from the AK-47 staircase or climb the ladder behind the building to get up on the roof and take the shot from there.

Chyornyj Prud

Chyornyj Prud is a swampy area in Tselinoyarsk. It sits between Rassvet and Bolshaya Past and is mostly made up of deep, murky wetlands.

1. GA-KO

Head over to the north-east exit, where you’ll see a tripwire trap. Just to the left of it, look for a tree with a rope hanging down that leads to an item. The GA-KO doll is sitting on one of the branches of that tree.

Bolshaya Past

Bolshaya Past is a forested part of Tselinoyarsk in the USSR. To the north, you will find a massive crevice cutting through the land, while the southern section is dotted with thick, sticky swamp puddles that make moving around a bit of a challenge.

1. GA-KO

Look for the tree you used to climb over the second electric fence. The duck is sitting right on one of its branches.

2. GA-KO

Head to the northwest corner of the map. On top of the ammo storage building (the same one where you pick up TNT), you’ll spot this GA-KO. It’s just outside the fenced and trenched helipad area.

3. GA-KO

This one shows up during the Ocelot boss fight, and it’s tricky. From your starting spot, walk all the way to the far left. On Ocelot’s side, look to the leftmost tree beside it there’s a patch of grass. If you stand in the front-left corner of your area and aim at the middle of that grass patch (a little above it), you’ll see the duck camouflaged on the rocks. It blends in really well, so keep a sharp eye.

Chyornaya Peschera Cave

Chyornaya Peschera is an underground cavern in Tselinoyarsk, USSR. EVA, the KGB agent who helps Snake, explains that in English it is called “the black cave from which cold wind blows,” which fits its eerie atmosphere perfectly.

1. GA-KO

Head to the archway that leads to the torch. Look up on the right side, near the waterfall you will spot the duck sitting on top of the arch.

2. GA-KO

Once The Pain is defeated, head toward the exit, but take the path on the right. Near the end of that trail, before you go back into the cave, stop and look up. Sunlight shines through a ceiling hole here, and the duck is sitting right in it.

3. GA-KO

Go forward until the path starts sloping down the mountain. You will see a glowing green mushroom nearby. From there, look straight ahead and up into the crack where sunlight filters through. The duck is tucked at the far north end of that crack; it’s a bit tricky to spot at first.

Ponizovje

Ponizovje is a mangrove swamp in Tselinoyarsk. In the northern part of the area, there is a warehouse used for moving supplies, while to the west you will find a smaller storage building.

1. GA-KO

Keep moving down the river. Right after you come out of the trees, check the left side just above the water before the path splits. It’s sitting among some fallen branches. Since it’s fully camouflaged, look for a big gray round shape on the branches that’s your duck.

2. GA-KO

At the docks where two guards are patrolling, climb out of the water. Look up at the wall next to a yellow door you’ll see the duck sitting on the corner above a little white socket sticking out of the wall.

3. GA-KO

Right as you enter, look left at the floodgate in the water. On the right side of that floodgate, you’ll spot the duck on the wall, blending in with the rocks.

4. GA-KO

Go upstairs to the top floor. Keep moving until you reach the red door that leads to the next area. Now turn around look along the right wall, where a big silver air duct runs. At floor height where you’re standing, the duck will be sitting on top of the duct.

Graniny Gorki

Graniny Gorki is a research facility in Tselinoyarsk, USSR. It is also called the OKB-812 Design Bureau, or simply the Granin Design Bureau, and is run by the scientist Aleksandr Leonovitch Granin.

1. GA-KO

In the middle of this area, look for a tree that’s shorter than the rest, with branches sticking out at the top. The duck is sitting right up there. To get a clear shot, go to the east edge of the area and aim at it from there.

2. GA-KO

Check the big metal doors in the center of the outer wall you’ll see the duck sitting on top.

3. GA-KO

Look to the left of the trucks. On top of a set of lights nearby, you’ll find this one.

4. GA-KO

After that, head through the red door ahead on the left. This takes you into a small courtyard. On the right side, look at the ground-floor windows. The duck is sitting on top of the middle window.

5. GA-KO

Enter the first room on your right. Inside, the GA-KO is perched on top of a bookcase.

6. GA-KO

Go into the next room, and you’ll spot it right away. It’s sitting on a desk behind a red chair, directly in front of you as you enter.

Svyatogornyj

Svyatogornyj is a forested region in Tselinoyarsk. Snake travels through this area on his journey to Sokrovenno during Operation Snake Eater.

1. GA-KO

Head over to the climbable tree. Look straight ahead at the rocky area between this tree and the one just to its left. The duck is sitting there, partly hidden by a small branch. It’s camouflaged and blends in with the rocks, so it’s tough to spot.

2. GA-KO

After entering, take the right-hand path. You’ll walk through a ravine with two logs overhead, then reach a patch of grass at the end. Right after that, look left for three broken tree stumps. The duck is on the leftmost stump (the darker brown one). It’s camouflaged, so look carefully and be careful of the pitfall trap immediately to the right.

3. GA-KO

At the back of this area, you’ll see a cabin with a turret in front of it. Stand directly in front of the turret, then turn 90° to your left. You should now be facing a tree. Go behind that tree and check the big rock right behind it. The duck is perched on the rock, camouflaged near the top just below some small trees. It’s basically on the first large rock to the left of the cabin.

Sokrovenno

Sokrovenno, which means “secret place” in Russian, is a big forest area in Tselinoyarsk.

1. GA-KO

In the first area of The End boss fight, move a little forward to your right and drop down the cliff. From there, check the northernmost wall on the map, between the two exits. The duck is sitting just to the left of a climbable tree.

2. GA-KO

From Sokrovenno South, take the exit next to the previous Kerotan (it’s to the right when standing by the building in the far-left corner). Once you’re in Sokrovenno North, stick to the wall along the right edge of the area. Keep following it until you reach a small cliff with two grass patches on top. Drop down to the left of this cliff and you’ll find a log lying sideways on the ground. Crouch behind the log, look a little to the right, and aim slightly above head height. The duck is tucked into the wall where moss is growing it’s using moss camo, so it blends in really well.

3. GA-KO

Entering from Sokrovenno North, head to the start of the stream at the very top (north) of the map. Look under the arched rock where the stream begins the duck is sitting in the water there.

Krasnogorje

Krasnogorje is a rugged, mountainous region in Tselinoyarsk, USSR.

1. GA-KO

After climbing the long ladder all the way up, look just ahead and slightly left. You’ll spot the duck sitting on a pipe.

2. GA-KO

As you move through the rocky terrain, check the left side for a raised rock formation with a crawl space underneath. The duck is sitting on top of that rock.

3. GA-KO

Continue climbing the hills. Look straight ahead as you reach the top of the second hill; the duck is on the cliff wall, blending in with the surrounding vegetation and branches.

4. GA-KO

Near the top of the area, go to the second-highest AA gun. Behind it, above a slanted sheet of metal, you’ll find the duck. It has white camo and blends in with the snowy rocks, looking almost like a round stone, so it’s easy to miss.

5. GA-KO

This one is really well hidden. Stand by the tower marked “07,” where you’ll see two red-and-white cones. Aim between the cones, then slowly move your aim down. After a few seconds, you’ll spot the duck nestled among smaller rocks below you, at about a 50–60 degree angle from where Snake is standing.

6. GA-KO

In this area, check directly opposite the Kerotan. The duck is tucked into a hole in the ceiling, just to the left of the exit.

Groznyj Grad

Groznyj Grad, which translates from Russian as “Terrible Fortress” or “Terrible City,” was a huge military base in Tselinoyarsk, USSR. It served as the mountain stronghold of GRU Colonel Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin.

1. GA-KO

You can only grab this one during The Fury boss fight. Right when the fight starts, run back to the ladder you climbed down. Look into the first opening on the left you’ll see the duck sitting on a pipe. Make sure you grab it before beating The Fury, because you can’t return here later.

2. GA-KO

This one’s on top of Hangar 65. From where you begin the area, go up the red stairs and head to the third hangar on the right. For a good view, move to the middle of the area near the parked truck.

3. GA-KO

Sitting on top of the second tank on the right side.

4. GA-KO

Turn right after climbing up onto the main building. Perched on an alarm horn pole is the duck.

5. GA-KO

As soon as you enter, head right into a prison room that has a woman’s poster on the wall. You’ll spot the duck on a shelf.

6. GA-KO

Enter the area and look right. Just ahead, below a searchlight tower, you’ll see the duck sitting on the corner of the barbed-wire fence.

7. GA-KO

Right at the entrance, look to the left. It’s sitting in the flower bed.

8. GA-KO

To the left of the guards, peek out the window. The duck is sitting in another window just to the right.

9. GA-KO

After entering, go up the stairs straight ahead. Just past the console, turn right and look up at the ceiling. The duck is on one of the support beams, about 4-5 beams away from the console. It’s tricky to spot since it blends in with the beam’s color and can be hidden behind others try different angles.

10. GA-KO

When EVA stops for the second time by the tanks, look up at the guard tower on your left the duck is perched there.

11. GA-KO

When EVA stops for the first time, check the right side. The duck is sitting on top of a barrel.

12. GA-KO

Just before the plane cutscene, look for a box marked “11” on your right. The duck is sitting on it. You’ll need a sniper rifle and must shoot it quickly before the cutscene starts. If you miss, reload a manual save from the start of this section.

13. GA-KO

On the railing between boxes labeled “25” and “26” to your right. It has dark camo and is tricky to spot. Be quick the Shagohod will be firing at you from behind.

14. GA-KO

At the other end of the bridge, check the right side. The duck is on a snow-covered rock near the same level where the Shagohod drives.

15. GA-KO

While on foot, head to the south edge of the map. The duck is on a red piece of metal on the cliff below the destroyed bridge, just after the boss area ends.

16. GA-KO

After you drive through a tunnel, keep looking forward (not at the bikes behind you). As you head toward a guard tower, check to the left of it. The duck is on the front-right side of a military vehicle with a soldier on top. There are lots of vehicles here, and EVA will make a U-turn around them, so you need to snipe it quickly while moving.

Tikhogornyj

Groznyj Grad, which translates from Russian as “Terrible Fortress” or “Terrible City,” was a huge military base in Tselinoyarsk, USSR. It served as the mountain stronghold of GRU Colonel Yevgeny Borisovitch Volgin.

1. GA-KO

Check the waterfall area. The duck is sitting on a rock to the left side of the falls, easy to spot. First, head inside the waterfall to get your weapons back, then you can step back out and shoot it.

2. GA-KO

Keep following the corridor until you reach the second set of locked gates on the right. The duck is sitting on a box just behind those gates.

Lazorevo

Lazorevo was a long stretch of forest in Tselinoyarsk.

1. GA-KO

While riding the motorbike, keep your aim forward in the direction you’re driving. Look just slightly ahead of Eva’s head. Around halfway through the area, the duck will appear on a tree branch to the left. It’s camouflaged and only visible for a few seconds, so it’s tough to spot. A shotgun makes it much easier to hit.

2. GA-KO

When you cross the river for the first time on the bike, look for the biggest rock in the middle of the river. The duck is sitting right on it. Aim slightly to the right of your driving direction (about 20°) to see it. If you reach the river a second time, you’ve already passed it and will need to restart the area.

Zaozyorje

Zaozyorje, which means “near the lake” in Russian, was a forested region in Tselinoyarsk. According to EVA, it was located southwest of Rokovoj Bereg.

1. GA-KO

After you heal Eva and yourself, keep moving forward until the next cutscene plays. Once “Caution” appears at the top of the screen, take the path to the right. When you reach a log bridge, look down to the right side of it to spot the duck.

2. GA-KO

Toward the end of this area, check the left side of the exit. The duck is sitting on a rocky ledge there.

Rokovoj Bereg

Rokovoj Beregis a striking area in Tselinoyarsk, featuring a wide lake set beside a field of white grass lilies.

1. GA-KO

During The Boss fight, look up into the trees. The duck is sitting on top of one of them. Shooting it will also unlock the “It’s Duck Season” trophy.

Volgin Boss Fight

As soon as the Volgin boss fight begins, look to your right. The duck is sitting on a metal box attached to the wall.
