    Igan Sunset (Tozuku’s Lair)

    Type – Tanto

    Engraving – Slow Time on Escape Strike 

    Bonus Stat – Vulnerable Damage 

    How to Get – You can obtain the Igan Sunset Tanto from a hidden chest in Tozuku’s Lair, located in the Katano Foothills. The chest is inside a shack guarded by several bandits. Tozuku’s Lair is situated in the Izumi Settsu Region.

    Oni’s Fury (Kawachi Heights)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving – +15% damage per non-Legendary Gear Equipped.

    Rarity – Legendary 

    How to Get – You can obtain the Oni’s Fury from a hidden chest inside one of the ruined houses in Teratsutsuki Den, which is located in the Izumi Settsu Region.

    Otakemaru’s Battlecry (Koriyama Camp)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving – +1% Health per Mastery Point in Shinobi.

    Rarity – Legendary 

    How to Get – The Otakemaru’s Battlecry Trinket can be found in a hidden chest at Koriyama Camp in Izumi Settsu. To reach the chest, descend into the basement through a hole in the center of the camp. However, an Elite enemy guards the area, so you’ll need to either defeat him or sneak past to access the chest.

    Bloodshade (Izumi Settsu Boat)

    Type – Katana

    Engraving – Affliction Buildup is not lost over time.

    Rarity – 

    Bonus Stat – Bleed Buildup

    How to Get – You can find Bloodshade in a hidden chest inside the large castle-like ship in Osaka, located in the Izumi Settsu Region. To reach it, you can either swim or use a boat. The area is guarded by hostile samurai, so proceed with caution. You can choose to sneak past them or take them down to secure Bloodshade safely.

    Demon Tooth (Arima Onsen)

    Type – Kusarigama

    Engraving –  +2 Health Segments removed on Rush Assassinate

    Rarity – Legendary

    Bonus Stat – Critical Damage

    How to Get – Travel to Arima Onsen in Harima to find the Hidden Chest containing the Demon Tooth Kusarigama. The chest is located in the open beside the falls, making it easy to loot. However, proceed with caution, as a powerful enemy named Daitengu roams the area.

    Samurai Daimyo Helmet of Legend (Nagusano Falls)

    Engraving – Trigger Samurai Stand on death, once per combat.

    • Adrenaline Gain

    How to Get – The Samurai Daimyo Helmet of Legend is located inside a Hidden Chest on a cliff behind a small altar at Nagusano Falls. To access the chest, climb the rocks behind the altar. Nagusano Falls is situated within the Engyoji sub-region of Harima.

    Headhunter (Blackstone Cascades)

    Type – Amulet

    Engraving – +15% to Stats with only a Long Katana equipped.

    Rarity – Legendary

    How to Get – The Headhunter Amulet is located inside a hidden cave behind the waterfall at Blackstone Cascades in Harima. Enter the cave, follow the path, and climb to the Hidden Chest to obtain the amulet. Keep in mind that only Naoe can fit through the crack, so if you’re playing as Yasuke, switch characters.

    Turquoise Zephyr (West of Shoryuji Castle)

    Type – Long Katana

    Engraving – Successful parries push nearby enemies back.

    Rarity – Legendary

    Bonus Stat – Adrenaline Gain

    How to Get – The Turquoise Zephyr is located in a Hidden Chest beneath a broken bridge at Eagle’s Nest in the Yamashiro Region. Look for the chest near a cart to find it.

    Tatsu’s Triumph (Ogura Pond)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving –  +2% tool damage per Mastery Point in Tools.

    Rarity – Legendary

    How to Get – You can find the Tatsu’s Triumph Trinket in a Hidden Chest at Ogura Peak in the Yamashiro Region. The area can be a bit tricky to navigate, but marking the Viewpoint and using the Pathfinder feature will help you locate it more easily.

    Deathbloom (Sarumaru Shrine)

    Type – Kusarigama

    Engraving – Increase Impact on Alternate Attacks.

    Bonus Stat – Critical Damage

    How to Get – Deathbloom is hidden inside a chest on a cliff behind the Sarumaru Shrine, which is located in Little Leaf Glade within the Yamashiro Region.

    Cascading Fear (Namikiri Fudoson Shrine)

    Type – Teppo

    Engraving – Kill enemies below 25% Health on Headshots.

    Rarity – Legendary

    How to Get – To obtain the Cascading Fear Teppo, climb the cliff behind the Namikiri Fudoson Shrine in Genbu Highlands. You’ll find it inside a Hidden Chest. The Namikiri Fudoson Shrine is located in the Yamashiro Region.

    Katano Castle Chest, Key and Samurai Locations – Assassin’s Creed Shadows

    Rage of Red Mist (Grave of Buried Hopes)

    Type – Kanabo

    Engraving – +100% of an Adrenaline Chunk after Armor Break.

    Rarity – Legendary

    Bonus Stat – Vulnerable Damage

    How to Get – The Rage of Red Mist Kanabo is located inside a Hidden Chest in the Grave of Buried Hopes. You’ll find it behind the temple, deeper within the bushes. The Grave of Buried Hopes is part of the Yamashiro Region.

    Extravagant Kabukimono Headgear (Narutaki Falls)

    Engraving – Automatically perform a weakpoint attack on a successful parry.

    Bonus Stat – Adrenaline Gain 

    How to Get – You can find the chest containing the Extravagant Kabukimono Headgear behind a waterfall in Narutaki Falls of the Tamba Region.

    Armor Eater (Aokura Shrine)

    Type – Amulet

    Engraving – Ranged Specialization 

    How to Get – To find the chest containing this amulet, head straight to the Aokura Shrine in the Tamba region. You will find the chest inside a cave-like structure.

    Lengthened Horizon (Amanohashidate)

    Type – Naginata

    Engraving – Instant posture on timed hit

    How to Get – This weapon is located in Amanohashidate, in the Tamba region, positioned just behind a shrine on the isthmus.

    Extravagant Kabukimono Outfit (North of Yura Fishing Village)

    Type – Armor

    Engraving – Adrenaline on weakpoint attack 

    How to Get – You can get this Legendary chest in the north side of the Yura Fishing village in a small pit. The village is located in the Tamba region. 

    Fujin’s Tempest (Koromodako Cave)

    Type – Amulet

    Engraving – Damage for altered provinces

    How to Get – The Fujin’s Tempest Amulet is rewarded upon completing the Biwa Master Quest, which requires discovering all five Pirate Alliance locations. You can get the quest by talking to the Biwa master in the Saifukuji Temple. After discovering all five Pirate Alliances and completing the Biwa Master Quest, you can obtain the Fujin’s Tempest Amulet inside Koromodako Cave. This amulet increases damage by +10% for each alerted province.

    Last Dance of the Onryo Robe (Grave of the Three Emperors)

    Type – Armor

    Engraving – Cheating death

    How to Get – The Last Dance of the Onryo Robe is located in the Wakasa region. To obtain this armor, you’ll need to locate the Legendary Chest behind the shrine building at the Grave of the Three Emperors. The armor lets you avoid death and gain immunity for 8 seconds one time.

    Last Dance of the Onryo Mask (Yaobikuni Cave)

    Type – Headgear

    Engraving  – Health after ability 

    How to Get – To obtain it, you’ll need to locate the Legendary Chest inside Yaobikuni Cave in the Wakasa region. It restores 5% health on the next hit after using abilities.

    Scale of the Koi (Abandoned Gardens)

    Type – Amulet

    Engraving – Armor Piercing for Kanabo Mastery

    How to Get – To get this amulet you will have to locate the Legendary chest located inside the Abandoned Gardens of the Wakasa region. There is a small pit behind the well situated inside the garden in which you will find the amulet.

    Hero’s Message (Hikidan-Jo Ruins)

    Type – Teppo

    Engraving – Bullet Ricochet

    How to Get – To obtain the teppo, find the legendary chest in the Hikidan-jo Ruins, located near Lake Suigetsu in the Wakasa region. You will find the chest is on top of a watchtower-like structure. 

    Claw of the Tides (Uchinakao Burrows)

    Type – Long Katana

    Engraving – Instant posture after posture 

    How to Get – The Uchinakao Burrows lie west of Genbao Fortress of the Wakasa region with the chest located near a small river. 

    How to Use and Refill Scouts in Assassin’s Creed Shadows (Scout Chest Location)

    Patient Harbinger (Ado River Valley)

    Type – Teppo

    Engraving – Double load on teppo

    How to Get – You can find this teppo in the Ado River Valley. The chest is located in a small hole near the coast. It allows you to chamber two bullets instead of one.

    Featherstorm (Kashiwabara Fortress)

    Type – Kusarigama

    Engraving – Instantly charge Posture attacks when hitting multiple enemies.

    Rarity – Legendary

    Bonus Stat – Critical Damage

    How to Get – To obtain the Featherstorm Kusarigama, head to Ibu Highlands in Omi. Locate the Hidden Chest behind the ruined tower north of Kashiwabara Fortress and loot it to claim the weapon.

    Graceful Crane (Mikami)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving – +150% to Stats with no weapon equipped.

    Rarity – Legendary 

    How to Get – To obtain the Graceful Cane Trinket, head to the waterfall east of Koga in The Shimmering Fields. Climb up and locate the Hidden Chest behind a tree near the Mikami Viewpoint synchronization spot. Loot the chest to acquire the trinket! The Shimmering Fields is a sub-region of Omi.

    Venom Pillar (Kajimiya Cemetery)

    Type – Kanabo

    Engraving– Instantly Charge Posture attacks by alternating attack types.

    Rarity – Legendary

    Bonus Stat – Vulnerable Damage

    How to Get – The Venom Pillar Kanabo is located inside a Hidden Chest behind a rock in Kajimiya Cemetery, situated in Mount Hiei, a sub-region of Omi. During the day, you may see and hear a Buddhist monk near the rock.

    Masked Death (Shimagahara Valley)

    Type – Katana

    Engraving – Posture attack remains charged after Dodge

    Rarity – Legendary

    Bonus Stat – Adrenaline Gain

    How to Get – The Masked Death Katana can be found inside the Hidden Chest at an abandoned camp in Shimagahara Valley. To locate the camp, follow the trail of blood on the ground. Shimagahara Valley is part of the Iga Region.

    Iwashimizu Hachiman Shrine Locations – Assassin’s Creed Shadows

    Fluttering Moth (Four Devils Lair)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving – +15% to Stats with only a Kusarigama equipped.

    Rarity – Legendary

    How to Get – You can obtain the Fluttering Moth Trinket from the Hidden Chest located in the Four Devils Lair within Nabari Wilds. Since this area is a restricted zone or conflict area, you’ll encounter enemies inside. You can either eliminate them or stealthily navigate your way to the chest. The Four Devils Lair is situated in the Iga Region.

    Elegant Samurai Hat (Yama Camp)

    Type – Helmet 

    Engraving – Reduce damage taken

    How to Get – You can find the hat inside a large treasure chest at Yama Camp, located in Takatori, Yamato. The camp is nestled in the forest, southeast of Takatori Castle, with Ishibutai Kofun positioned not far to the southwest.

    Omukade’s Feast (Uchimaki Hidden Stash)

    Type – Trinket 

    Engraving – Tanto specialization

    How to Get – To acquire this trinket, head to the Uchimaki Hidden Stash in the Yamato region. Look for a small cave by the creek; smash the box to crawl in and access the Legendary Chest containing the Omukade’s Feast. 

    Okubi’s Laughter (Hitsugayake Cache)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving – Vulnerable damage for assassin mastery

    How to Get  – You can get this legendary chest in the Hitsugayake Cache of the Yamato region under the shade of a huge rock.

    Loyal Traveler (Kamikura Shrine)

    Type – Long Katana

    Engraving – Improved sheathed attack

    How to Get – You can find the chest containing this weapon west of the Kamikura Shrine Viewpoint in the Kii region. In the wilderness, search for a stone-carved Buddha shrine with a few corpses lying nearby. 

    Oni’s Bite (Torike Cave)

    Type – Trinket

    Engraving  – Critical damage for katana mastery

    How to Get – This legendary chest can be found inside the Torike Cave of the Kii region. The entrance to the cave will be blocked by some wooden boxes, smash those boxes to enter the cave and find the trinket.

    Noh Masterstroke Costume (Limori Cave)

    Type – Armor

    Engraving – Spread affliction on kill

    How to Get – This legendary chest can be found  inside the Limori cave near Sazae Oni Shores of the Kii region.

    Noh Masterstroke Mask (Mount Koya)

    Type  – Headgear

    Engraving – Adrenaline on affliction buildup

    How to Get – To acquire the Noh Masterstroke Mask, head to Kinokawa Valley in the Kii region and locate the Legendary Chest. You’ll find it at the peak of Mount Koya hidden behind a bamboo wall. This mask grants a 20% increase in an adrenaline chunk upon affliction buildup.
