Lon Lon Ranch & Lost Woods 100% Walkthrough
Head out from Kakariko Village through Hyrule Field to reach Lon Lon Ranch. Don’t forget to play the Sun’s Song before leaving Kakariko Village so that it will be nighttime outside. You can play the Sun’s Song whenever you want to change the time of day.
Epona’s Song

You will see Malon sing while she is in the middle of the horse corral with her young horse Epona around. Speak to Malon a few times and take out your Ocarina. Malon will teach you Epona’s Song. This song can also be played near a cow to obtain Lon Lon Milk; all you need is an empty Bottle. This method is cheap and effective for restoring health. Once you grow up into an adult, you can use the song to summon Epona.
Heart Piece #1

Head to the tall building at the back of the ranch, which is the silo. Once inside, move the crates around and climb them to reach the hole behind them. Crawl through the hole to find the Piece of Heart.
Gold Skulltula #1

When you enter the ranch, head left and go behind the houses. You’ll find a tree there. Roll into it, and a Gold Skulltula will fall out. Defeat it and collect the Token.
Empty Bottle #1

Go inside the house on the left side of the ranch, and there you will meet Talon, who is back from the castle. Speak to him during the daytime and give him 10 Rupees to initiate his game. Talon will unleash various Cuccos, but among them, there will be three Super Cuccos. Throw those Cuccos away until you get all three Super Cuccos within the given time limit. Upon winning the game, Talon will give you a Bottle filled with Lon Lon Milk, and by drinking that, you will regain your 5 hearts (2.5 hearts per half).
Gold Skulltula #2 (Night)

Head to Kokiri Forest at night. If it’s still daytime, play the Sun’s Song to change the time. Then, go behind the building south of the exit leading to Hyrule Field. You’ll find a Gold Skulltula there. Defeat it and collect the Token.
Deku Seeds Bag Upgrade

Go back to The Lost Woods, and choose the right way that comes from the entrance of the room. There is a target hanging on a tree branch, and there is a Deku Scrub standing close to it. Get your Fairy Slingshot ready to use it and aim to shoot the target.
Shooting the target three times without missing will make the Deku Scrub come out and praise your perfect aim. As a prize, he will give you a larger Deku Seed Bag that can carry up to 40 Deku Seeds.
Heart Piece #2

Once you locate the target object, go down to the lower part of that same room. In there, you will see two Skull Kids sitting on tree stumps and playing flutes. Get on top of an empty tree stump, then take out your Ocarina to repeat what they play. It will be a short tune. With each round, more notes are added. Do all nine rounds to get a Piece of Heart.
Saria’s Song

After climbing the stairs and stepping off the stone platform, you will find Saria sitting on a log. Speak to her, and she will ask whether you are ready to return home. Inform her about the events at Hyrule Castle, and she will tell you that she will wait for you in Kokiri Forest. She will also reveal that her favourite place is the Sacred Grove and that it will be important to you both one day.
Before parting ways, Saria teaches you the Saria’s Song. The melody goes as follows: R, A, Y, R, A, Y. You will be able to use the song to communicate with Saria wherever you are and get clues about the way forward.
Heart Piece #3

Head back towards the entrance of the Lost Woods and take a left at the first room there. There will be a Skull Kid sitting on a stump. Climb onto the nearby stump and play Saria’s Song, whereupon the Skull Kid will begin dancing and give you a piece of heart.
