In Sniper Elite: Resistance, recovering Vertigo’s intel is among your tasks. When inside the office of Vertigo, opening a safe-locked, strong safe containing essential papers will prove difficult. This process, which is done using either a key or a satchel charge, will define further steps for completing your mission. But no matter how you unlock the safe, you are going to hand over documents for decryption. Once you complete the main objectives, you will get extraction points. Be sure to complete all the optional objectives you find along the way to get extra rewards.
Recover Vertigo’s Intel
Your last main objective is to retrieve Vertigo’s intel. The quest marker will take you to a heavily guarded area, almost like a fortress within a fortress, just across a small bridge. To get there, you must clear out the enemies patrolling the area. You have multiple ways to approach this: you can take the direct route across the bridge, sneak through underground tunnels, or climb up the outer walls using the dead vines.
Vertigo’s Office Location
Vertigo’s office is a small room that can be tricky to spot initially. You will find it on the second floor, to the left of the courtyard.
- If you are up for some climbing, you can use the vines to reach an open window and sneak in. But if you would rather take the easy route, just head inside, take the stairs, and go through a few doors on your right.
- Inside Vertigo’s office, you will find a safe that needs to be opened. You have two options: use a key if you can find it, or blow it open with a satchel charge, which will definitely attract attention.
- If you go with the satchel charge, you can find one in a small garden area on the ground floor, just northwest of the office. That’s the method I went with since tracking down the key turned out to be more trouble than it was worth.
- No matter how you open the safe, Harry will tell you that the documents are too encoded and need to be handed off for decryption.
If you have already finished the other main missions, you will see several map markers appear, pointing to different extraction points. Heading to any of these locations and leaving the map will complete the mission. If you haven’t tackled the optional objectives yet, we recommend doing them for the best rewards in the campaign.
