Sticks and Stones is a quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen where you have to gather three Heatstones for Morgus. You either help him visit a Beorcan camp or gather the Heatstones yourself by smashing the old fire pits. It’s not a very difficult quest, and you can get through it in just a few minutes if you know what you are doing. In this guide, we’ll explain how to unlock and complete the Sticks and Stones quest and claim all its rewards.
Sticks And Stones Quest
For the quest Sticks and Stones, first you will have to start the storyline quest named “Seeking the Sage”. Move along the storyline quest till you get the Spirit Compass and also get the climbing hook from Dorin. After getting the Spirit Compass, go to Morgus at the place of the broken bridge near the village to start the quest.
Morgus Choice
The first step in this quest is to find Morgus, who will be found near the damaged bridge, located to the northwest of the Norgandian Settlement. This person will request that you locate three Heatstones. You have an option to help him locate them or to locate them yourself. In case you want to locate the Heatstones yourself, Morgus will inform you that they can be obtained by destroying abandoned firepits, which will be marked on your map. Or you could follow him and find the Heatstones alongside him.
Beorcan Camp Location
Should you choose to follow Morgus, then head to his camp at Beorcan on the cliffside. Be ready for battle during your journey, but if you have tied the Climbing Hook onto the post on the cliff above, you will be able to climb up directly to the camp. However, if not, then you will have to follow the route through Valgr Ravine.
Defeat the Beorcans
Once you reach the camp, defeat the Beorcans gathered around the firepit. Morgus will fight alongside you, so work together to take down the enemies.
Destroy the Abandoned Firepit
After defeating the Beorcans, approach the abandoned firepit with Morgus and attack it to destroy it. Collect the Heatstones that drop from the firepit.
Report Back to Ryatt
Once you have collected the three Heatstones, return to the Norgandian Settlement and speak to Ryatt. Reporting back to him will complete the quest. After completing the Sticks and Stones quest, you will receive:
- 3,000 XP.
- 10,000 Gold.
- Molten Ore.
- Sunstone.
- Heatstone.
- Two Heatstone crafting recipes.
