In AION 2, it is not possible to travel to the other faction’s territories through teleportation. You will be required to utilize a Spacetime Rift, which creates a gateway from your faction’s map to the other faction’s territory. How to Enter the Opposite Faction’s Map
There are two ways to enter the enemy map in AION 2. The first way is to reach Item Level 1000 and use the Abyss Reshanta. The other method is to use Spacetime Rifts that spawn periodically around the map. Both Spacetime Rifts and the Abyss portal won’t be unlocked until you have reached level 45.
After that, if you wish to use Spacetime Rifts, then you will need to wait for one to spawn on your map. When a Rift opens, follow these steps:
- Open your World Map and look for the Spacetime Rift marker.
- Travel to the marked location.
- Interact with the Rift while it is active.
- Enter the portal to travel to the opposing faction’s territory.
- Complete your quests, explore the area, or take part in other available activities before your time expires.
For instance, Asmodians can travel to Verteron, while Elyos characters can travel to Altgard using the correct Spacetime Rift.
When Do Spacetime Rifts Open?
The Spacetime Rifts have periodic availability; they do not appear all the time. According to the guides provided at the moment, the Rifts reappear every three hours. There are various resources online to help you find the timing of the next Spacetime Rift, so it is recommended to use external sources to time your visits. The time frame for getting into the rift is limited, which means that you must rush straight to where the Rift opens. It usually takes you 10 minutes to get inside the rift and one hour to be in the enemy territory.
What Can You Do on the Enemy Map?
Once you have traversed the Rift, you can enter the territories of the rival faction and unlock content which you won’t be able to unlock on your side. You can take part in quests, visit Strongholds, Sealed Dungeons, and many more. Do remember that you will enter into enemy territory, so the presence of players as well as the faction guards will be very dangerous for you. It is recommended to switch to PvE instead of PvP, since you can get killed pretty quickly otherwise. Plan your trip before entering and make sure you have enough time to complete your objectives.
