For the Advancement of Learning Quest Choices
Send Keira to Radovid, Kaer Morhen, or Kill Her
At the For the Advancement of Learning stage, you need to make a choice about Keira. She either gets sent to Kaer Morhen, she gets sent to Radovid, or she dies. If you send her to Kaer Morhen, Keira will live and later on become an ally of Geralt in The Battle for Kaer Morhen scenario. Choosing to send her to Radovid opens up the possibility for the A Final Kindness side quest to be activated. If you kill Keira, none of those events would take place.
The Whispering Hillock Quest Choices
Free, Kill, or Trick the Tree Spirit
You have three options when it comes to dealing with the spirit of the tree in The Whispering Hillock. They include freeing the spirit, killing it, or making it think that you are helping it.
When you choose to free the spirit, the orphans from Crookback Bog are saved from the Crones, yet Downwarren is ruined. In addition, the choice will result in the death of the Bloody Baron and his wife. However, if you kill the spirit, the Bloody Baron and his wife will survive, but the former’s wife will go crazy. As for the orphans, they will be killed by the Crones.
Alternatively, you can trick the spirit by making it believe that you are helping it. The consequences will be the same as when you kill the spirit, except that you will not have to battle with the heart of the tree.
Return to Crookback Bog Quest Choices
Which Doll to Pick
In Return to Crookback Bog, you are required to select a doll for Anna Strenger. The right doll is the one with a violet hollyhock flower on it. Selecting this doll breaks the curse on Anna, but she dies after bidding farewell to her husband and child. Selecting the dolls with red beads, bird feathers, or a human ear will set Anna on fire and make her die without coming back to her senses.
King’s Gambit Quest Choices
Side With Cerys or Hjalmar or Choose Not to Help
In King’s Gambit, you are free to pick which one to assist – Cerys or Hjalmar – or neither of them. If you choose not to support any of these characters, both Cerys and Hjalmar will be considered dead, and Svanrige will become the new king of Skellige.

Last Wish Quest Choices
Romance Yennefer or Turn Her Down
In the game Last Wish, there is an option for Geralt to tell Yennefer that he loves her or refuse her advances. In the case where Geralt tells Yennefer that he loves her, then the two have a relationship, which results in a romantic scene between the two characters. In the case where Geralt refuses her advances, the two decide to be friends instead.
Reason of State Quest Choices
Help, Kill, or Ignore the Temerians
In Reason of State, Geralt can decide to aid the Temerians in battling Dijkstra, let Dijkstra murder the Temerians, or not bother with the quest at all. If Geralt decides to aid Roche and the Temerians, then they battle Dijkstra, and the Nilfgaardians win the war.
This decision is also needed for an ending. When Geralt allows Dijkstra to murder the Temerians, Radovid dies, and Dijkstra is made chancellor; however, the North wins the war. If Geralt skips the quest, then Radovid wins the war.
An Eye for an Eye Quest Choices
Kill or Spare the Soldier
In An Eye for an Eye, you have a choice of killing the soldier or letting him live. But this decision doesn’t matter in the story because both ways lead to the same result.
Romance Yennefer, Triss, or Both
How to Romance Triss
In order to romance Triss, you have to:
- Kiss her during A Matter of Life and Death quest.
- Help Triss escape from Novigrad during the Now or Never quest.
- Instruct Triss to stay with you and confess your love to her.
How to Romance Yennefer
To woo Yennefer, you must begin by wearing the black and white attire in The King is Dead – Long Live the King quest. As soon as you get an opportunity, let Yennefer know that you would like to kiss her, and it results in a romance sequence. After this, during The Last Wish, make Yennefer aware of your love for her. If you’ve chosen right in the past, then another romance sequence opens up in No Place Like Home.
Romance Triss and Yennefer
One may pursue both Triss and Yennefer by following all the romance quests that have been mentioned above. But doing so leads to a quest called It Takes Three to Tango, where both the ladies become aware of what Geralt has been up to. Ultimately, he loses both of them.
Romancing Other Characters
Keira Metz
