Embarking on the “Road to Nowhere” in the Tomb map of Black Ops 6 Zombies requires a series of steps. Before you can unlock this mysterious path, you must first gather the necessary resources to open three distinct doorways scattered across the map. These doors, located at the Northeast Dig Site, the Shrine of Hierophants, and the Subterranean Temple, demand significant Essence to unlock.
How to Open the Doorway to Nowhere
To begin your adventure at The Tomb, you will find a quest guiding you to unlock “Road to Nowhere.” However, there’s a bit of a detour first. You will need to unlock three doors before you can proceed:
- Northeast Dig Site: This door requires 2,250 Essence to open.
- Shrine of Hierophants: Unlocking this one costs 2,500 Essence.
- Subterranean Temple: The final door has a price tag of 2,750 Essence.
Once you have opened these three doors, you will finally be able to embark on the “Road to Nowhere” quest.
Keep moving through the map, following the objective markers, until you find a podium. To unlock it, you will need the amulet obtained at the end of the Citadelle des Morts quest. Beyond the door, you will step into the eerie yet mesmerizing Dark Aether Nexus, where you might uncover secrets leading to the next Zombies map.
Place the amulet on it, and the Door to Nowhere will open. Once you step inside, Sir Archibald will share a few thoughts about the Dark Aether Nexus. This is where you will first find the Pack-a-Punch, though it moves around later, along with Juggernog. If you walk to the far side of the Dark Aether, you will hear a quote about the Sentinel Artifact, offering a glimpse of the Boss Fight Arena.
Amulet location in BO6
To get the Amulet, you have two options:
- Solve the Easter Egg yourself: You will need to play the “Citadelle Des Morts” map and successfully complete the hidden Easter Egg puzzle.
- Play with someone who has already solved it: If you are playing with a friend who has already solved the Easter Egg on their own game, they will be able to open the doorway for you.
Essentially, either you or someone you’re playing with needs to have completed the Easter Egg puzzle on the “Citadelle Des Morts” map.
Tips
- Focus on efficient Essence farming methods early on. This will significantly speed up the process of opening the three required doors.
- If playing with friends, coordinate your efforts to quickly gather Essence and unlock doors.
- Search every nook and cranny of the map. You might discover hidden areas, secrets, and valuable items that can aid your progress.
