In FF7 Rebirth, there is a designated set of Chocobo stops in each region. Finding each stop is quite important to unveil the entire map. Players encounter several challenges – such as requiring a Chocobo to access those areas – through Junon and Nibel, with areas that could go from rather easy to needing a Forest Chocobo as seen in the Gongaga locations. The Corel Region offers the vibrant Costa Del Sol, packed with exciting mini-games for players to enjoy. However, its Chocobo Stops are located to the south, and the region’s arid, mountainous terrain makes it difficult to reach other key areas. After finishing their journey through the Grasslands, players will have the chance to explore Junon, where some locations are only accessible by Chocobo. Be sure to get one to make the most of your exploration.
In the Cosmo Canyon region, players can visit Red XIII’s home, though the area is filled with dangerous challenges. The Grasslands mark the beginning of the journey, while the Nibel Region is the final area to fully explore. Despite its small size, it has eight Chocobo Stops that are relatively easy to find. The Gongaga Region, on the other hand, is one of the more confusing areas in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
To explore it properly, players must find a Forest Chocobo, which can be acquired through the main storyline. Each region in the game has eight Chocobo Stops, adding up to a total of 48. Unlocking them is worthwhile in the long run. So, take some time to explore and track them down. To make it easier, keep an eye out for a small bird whenever you are near a Chocobo Stop.
