Best Comms Module Farming Locations – MW4 DMZ

Discovering the Comms modules in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ might require you to invest a good amount of time, especially when taking into consideration that they are rare drop items. Five Comms modules are needed in order to upgrade your Uncommon Ingredient Printer back at your FOB. However, there are specific locations where it would be easier to find one, and you do not have to always fight a strong enemy to get one. Here are the best locations to farm Comms Modules in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, including a few safer spots for solo players.

Best Locations To Find Comms Modules

To complete the Uncommon Ingredient Printing upgrade on your Forward Operating Base (FOB) in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, you must first obtain five Comms Modules. Luckily, there are some areas in which you will have more chances of finding them. The Comms Modules are usually obtained from desktops and servers.

    Deadtown

For an easier method of gathering Comms Modules, Deadtown should be your choice. The place is located at the westernmost part of the map, and it is normally a lot safer compared to other locations. There are no highly secured areas near the place, and it is not visited by many players who may attack you.

Deadtown can be accessed by crossing the entire map or using the train, which runs near this location. After arriving at the location, you need to cross the water and approach the buildings located near the shore. The buildings located next to the shore are what you will need to look for. These are the ones you want to search for Comms Modules.

As opposed to the other previous locations, in which you will be mainly focusing on the servers, here you will be mainly searching for the desktop computers. There are some servers also, but most of the time you will spend searching the PCs. Enter each building and search every floor, including the rooftop level floors. Do not rush, as you may miss the PC with the required object.

As you require five Comms Modules for upgrading your FOB, you can return to Deadtown again and again, searching for the Comms Modules in the waterfront buildings there until you find the required number. If you are alone in the game, Deadtown is the best starting location for you.

    Cheonwang Peak Array

Cheonwang Peak Array is one of the locations where you may gather Comms Modules. However, this place is a stronghold, so you will face a lot of enemies that keep appearing. Besides, you may run into a commander or a lieutenant during your exploration.

If you play alone, you have two variants of entering the compound without too much fighting. First, you may go via the underground tunnel. Follow it to the very end, which will bring you close to the building you should look for.

You may meet some guards on your way back, but you can kill them with the help of a suppressor or avoid meeting them altogether. Or, you may enter the compound from its opposite side and climb the walls. After that, try to enter one of the two large buildings in silence.

As soon as you enter the place, go to the higher levels. Your objectives include desktop computers and server rooms. There are two big server rooms on the upper level of the building, and there is your best chance to locate the Comms Modules.

Pay close attention to the servers, as it might be difficult to spot them. In case the enemies pressure your position, concentrate on checking out the server rooms first. There is another building located at the opposite end of the compound, which includes several more servers.

    Netshin Tech Complex

You will also find Comms Modules within the server rooms located within Netshin Tech Complex at Nurigo Mall. But this is one of the most dangerous places on the map. To avoid being killed easily while going into this place, the best thing to do is enter through the roof via helicopter. If you are coming from Cheonwang Peak Array, there may be a helicopter waiting at the rooftop.

Land at the rooftop of Netshin Tech Complex and park your helicopter where you can use it again in case of escape. Then go down a couple of levels and locate the server room. Like what you have done previously, look for Comms Modules within the servers.

Unfortunately, the enemies can overpower you really fast. It doesn’t matter how prepared your squad is; they can still fail when the number of enemies increases. And even the drop rate doesn’t seem to be good enough. Therefore, if you have an adequate squad and equipment, it’s better not to risk it and move to another method.

    Defeat The Death Stalker Commander

Another method of obtaining Comms Modules is by killing the Death Stalker commander. This particular opponent can spawn in any number of places throughout the map, making the process of locating it somewhat challenging. Money can be invested in intelligence gathering in order to locate commanders, but this process becomes costly.

Nevertheless, once the Death Stalker is located, killing it can prove tricky unless you have what it takes to kill it. The best way to ensure an easy victory over the Death Stalker is to use the surrounding anti-aircraft weapons against it. After defeating the Death Stalker, search its loot for a Comms Module.
