The Challenge Surprise Me in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ involves completing five Dynamic Ops missions and a Story Mission through the use of the Random Mission Deploy feature. This Challenge can be found on Page 2 of the DMZ Orders progression menu, located inside the FOB. This Challenge is relatively simple after learning how to start Dynamic Ops and choose a random Story Mission.
Surprise Me Challenge
In order to successfully do the “Surprise Me” mission in Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ game mode, you will have to do 5 Dynamic Operations, as well as complete a Story Mission with the Random Mission Deploy option. This mission is on Page 2 of your DMZ Orders progress on the FOB.
Complete 5 Dynamic Ops
There are two ways of completing five Dynamic OP challenges in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ. These include starting a Dynamic OP mission before joining matchmaking and activating a mission while walking around the map. After joining matchmaking, you will be able to select from the following three modes: Story, Free Roam, and Dynamic Ops.
All of these can be used to get through the challenges, but Dynamic Ops is the easiest way to do so. In Dynamic Ops, you will start the mission immediately after spawning in. If you’re playing in Story, Free, or Career Mode, you need to manually make your way to the green target location on the map to initiate the mission.
The number of objectives in each Dynamic Ops mission is either four or five. They are not difficult at all, but these objectives are meant for three players only. If you’re playing solo, you’ll have to deal with plenty of enemies, including areas you need to defend or clear out. The objectives for the Dynamic Ops missions are shown on the left side of the screen, and completing them will reward you with various rare items, cash, and XP.
Complete a Story Mission via “Random Mission Deploy”
For this goal, you will be required to conduct your next mission completely by chance. Go to the mission screen for Story Mission at your Forward Operating Base. Instead of clicking on any particular mission that is either locked or unlocked, click on “Random” that appears as an overlay option on the menu. The game will automatically pick any one mission from those that are currently unlocked for you. You will need to successfully complete all the parameters of this mission and extract yourself safely.
