Daedalus Shortcut is one of the chapters from Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, during which you have to go on a particular path inside the temple to progress further in the game. You will have to unlock new parts of the temple with the Daedalus Key, complete a puzzle related to the lights in the temple, and acquire the weapon named Sica. The path is sometimes a bit tricky, so here is the walkthrough for Daedalus Shortcut.
How To Follow Daedalu’s Shortcut
Go back to the diorama and move forward to the area with the view of the labyrinth, where the petrified body is located. As you approach the location, a cutscene will play in which Sophia sees a vision of Theseus conversing with Daedalus. In her vision, Daedalus shows Theseus the location of the locked door. Then he unlocks the door using the key-shaped artefact from his arm and lets Theseus go through the door.
Daedalus’s Key is the artifact that can open locked doors of the temple. To proceed, return to the area with the light pointing to the labyrinth. After you come to the pillar, turn back and look for the platform in front of you, from which you will be able to reach the blocked door.
Then move towards the right to find a door which can be opened using Daedalus’s Key. Walk through the path ahead of the door. After a while, take a look at the small cave located to your right side. Move into it and find the tomb.
Inside the tomb, climb up on the second platform from the left side. Now, activate the Splitting Light power and arrange the light in such a way that it is aligned with the gems in the room. Aligning everything properly will cause the trapdoor located under the skull statue to open. Move through the trapdoor and get access to the tomb to obtain the weapon known as Sica.
After obtaining the Sica, move out of the room and return to the corridor you were earlier in. Move upwards through the stairs on the left side of the corridor to reach another locked door. Use Daedalus’s Key to unlock it and move to a big room having lots of pipes and chains.
