It is quite difficult to find the trail of The Plunderers in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, particularly when you get to the places with the pendants. In the mission of Those Before Us, you will have to solve the clues and make use of your grappling hook to access other areas.
How To Follow The Plunderers Tracks
In the mission “Those Before Us”, you will have to track the trail of the Plunderers to advance through the mission. These hints are present in the book; however, sometimes it is quite tricky to find them. You start off from the beach where the door is present directly in front of you. Head towards the right and locate the first cave.
Go inside the cave and climb up to get the Conch Shell collectable item. After getting the collectable item, you will have to continue further inside the cave to exit at the shore. Once you are out of the cave, you have to move back a little and reach the green door.
Find The Tree And Use The Grappling Hook
For the next clue, find the tree in the middle of the area. This will be one of the many clues that you need to follow on the journey. From there, turn in the direction which the tree is indicating to you and look at the rock which the tree is pointing through. By looking through the rock, you will be able to know the next destination.
To get up to the high place, use the grappling hook. From there, proceed further down and look out for any Resonant Points. Once you have passed through, you will come across a point where you will have to help the other character cross over the log.
Follow The Pendant’s Direction
Eventually, there will be an area with a big lake in it. Find a pendant that is lying down. Observe the pendant and look at the part of the pendant that shows an arrow facing outwards. Follow the direction indicated by the arrow. Along the way, you will have to jump over some rocks. Keep moving forward until you reach the next area.
Solve The Two-Pendant Puzzle
Once you arrive at the next area, you’ll see a pillar. There will be yet another way on the right side of it which you can take to move further. Cross the gap and get into the puzzle. You will have two pendants in this puzzle area which will help you figure out the required actions.
Cross the gap and move down to the area where there are two pillars. After seeing the two pillars, go left and keep following the path. There is a block in this area which you can interact with. Once you interact with the block, the next clue will be activated, and it will guide you to a tree, and the characters will talk about a watchtower nearby.
Find The Watchtower
Before moving to the tree, first make sure that there is a collectible near the area to the left. Make sure to find the structure and pillar where the collectable is located before going to the next step. After obtaining the collectable, go to the tree that is indicated by the block.
The tree may be a bit difficult to find, as the interaction prompt might take some time to show up. Locate the rock that you used to pinpoint the location of the tree. The correct tree will be to the left, along with the watchtower that can be seen above it.
Look Through The Circular Object
The first step in this mission is to find a round-shaped item at the top of the tree. There should be another Resonant Point near the first one; get it before moving further. Now, look into the round item at the spot below it. You have to find the right angle for an X to appear on the item or area below it.
Once you’ve found the correct spot, the clue will be complete. Use your grappling hook to jump down from the watchtower and return to the other character. From there, the mission will continue automatically.
