Secret Bridge Ranger Outpost is one of the hidden areas that you can explore in Grounded 2 of the Into the Abyss update. The only way to get there is by crossing the underwater portion and getting into the abandoned lab filled with dangers. In order to access the area, you will need appropriate diving equipment and a gas mask. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Bridge Outpost and how to unlock its Fast Travel point.
How To Unlock The Bridge Outpost
In the first place, go to the Bridge POI and dive underwater to the south of the large bridge. You will require either the Koi Helmet or Diving Helmet in order to enter it since you will be going underwater. It is also recommended to carry a gas mask, as the deeper you dive, the more toxins will build up. This will leave you dizzy, which isn’t a good sign.
As soon as you are in the water, search for the destroyed lab and swim underneath it to find an entrance point. You will find it close to the cave entrance that you might have spotted over the water. Once you find the little dugout hole, keep on moving ahead. Don’t worry about any creatures you come across, as killing them will just slow you down. You could use the Toe Bitter buggy with the Buggin’ Buggies mutation to quickly sprint through the area.
Finding the Abandoned Laboratory
Eventually, you will find a location where your dizziness meter will appear. It will also get rather cold here, so you can pop some consumables like the Blazin’ Brew or Spicy Shards, or activate the Spicy Safety Mutation if you don’t have any cold resistance armor. As you go deeper, you will encounter the Toe Biter Nymph. However, you do not have to kill the creature; you just need to avoid it and proceed towards the entrance located to its right.
Climb up the large tree bark ahead and continue to go upwards towards the broken structure. Enter the structure, and you will reach the abandoned laboratory. The laboratory has many useful items for you. Walk to the left and enter the door that is now unlocked. Inside, there are more useful items, one of which is a Research item that you can grab. After grabbing it, walk back in the direction you came from. You will see a Fast Travel point there. Activate it to fast travel from here to any point on the map and back again.
