How To Get Infused Ooze
This Infused Ooze is obtained when you find yourself inside the new biome, known as the Abyss. Furthermore, you will have to advance through the storyline to the point where you enter the Monitoring Station. Once you are at the laboratory found in the Monitoring Station, you will be told the exact place of an organism known as the Leviathan. Once you kill the Leviathan, it drops this item onto the ground for you to pick up. Once you have picked up this item, you will be able to upgrade your axe to Tier 4.
How To Defeat Leviathan
There are no weak spots in the Leviathan, so be ready to use a powerful spear when fighting against it. Grenades and mines like the Croakwurst are also pretty handy here, as you can craft several of them and place them around the area and bait the target onto them.
In case you want to fight it head on, the most effective strategy to beat the monster is to draw it to the corner of the area. Then, you can simply jump over it and start to hit it with your spear. When the Leviathan tries to strike at you, just go back to the corner and keep repeating these actions. Do not try to fight the monster face-to-face since it may be very hard to win the battle.
