Terrosunder is one of the unique fish you can catch in the Drylands update of Fisch. You will need to unlock a few special items, start a dust storm and survive a minigame to catch the fish. Since this fish can attack and kill you instantly, be careful when you are trying to catch this fish and don’t get too near the fish. In this guide, we will show you how to catch Terrosunder in Fisch.
How To Catch Terrosunder

To catch Terrosunder, you will first need to head to the Drylands, located behind Fish Fest Island. Cross the sandy bridge until you find the NPC Pedri. Once you find him, accept his quest before you start fishing. You need the Marrow Rod, as it is the only rod that can start the Dust Storm event needed for this fish to appear. You will also need a few other items before you are ready:
- Dune Goggles
- Dune Cloak
- Cactus Pulp
Once you have everything, equip the Marrow Rod with Cactus Pulp Bait and look for the Giant Scorpion roaming in the area. Cast your line close to the Scorpion, but don’t get too close because it can attack and kill you. When the Dust Storm is active, you will have a chance to hook the Terrosunder.
The hardest part is catching the fish; as the fight progresses, a huge wall of sand will sweep across the screen, making it very difficult to see the fish. It is also a good idea to use high luck bait, as it can improve your chances of hooking Terrosunder more quickly.

If you are struggling with the Marrow Rod, you can make the fight easier by using a stronger rod with the Dune Enchant. The Dune Enchantment gives your rod unlimited maximum weight capacity, lets you fish in the Drylands’ sand, and provides a 5% chance to duplicate any fish with the Dune mutation, making it a great enchantment for farming in the Drylands.
Use Polaris Serenade with the Dune Enchant and the Neuroslug Bait to catch the fish. This combination gives you a large control bar, making the minigame easier. While catching the fish, the game will suddenly shrink your control bar, making the fish much harder to control. Using the Neuroslug Bait helps you increase your resilience, giving you a better chance to catch the fish.
You’ll also need the Sand Sifter Bobber, as it’s required for fishing in the Drylands. You can also add the Piercing enchant to your rod, which increases the progress speed and fish stabbing when reeling by 15%.
How To Spawn Terrosunder
Once you have started the Dust Storm, try to search for a huge scorpion in the colour of sand near the desert. Though it is close to the ground, due to its size, you will be able to find it. Once you have found it, go behind the scorpion and drop the fishing line in the water from behind it.
Fish till you get a Dune-Stalker Eel. Fishing for this eel while behind the huge scorpion is what starts the Terrosunder event. As soon as you catch the eel, you will be shown a big message that reads “THE TERROSUNDER HAS AWOKEN!?!”, which means that the boss has been successfully summoned. This will also be reflected in your catch log.
Only one player can catch the Dune-Stalker Eel that awakens Terrosunder. If you play in crowded servers, you will find several people fishing around the same large scorpion. The individual who captures the eel becomes the one to start the quest for all other individuals playing nearby. You should try to get a scorpion where there is no one else fishing.
