Y’Berion’s Chest is among the locked treasure chests found in Gothic 1 Remake, and the chest has to be opened by using the right lockpick combination. If you use the wrong moves, you will likely break your lockpick and have to start over. In this guide, we will show you where to find Y’Berion’s Chest, the best time to open it, and the exact lockpicking combination you need to unlock it.
How To Open The Y’Berion’s Chest

The chest of Y’Berion can be located at the Sleeper Temple at the Swamp Camp. The best time to try to open the chest is chapter 3, because there won’t be any people to see what you are doing. If you know how to pick locks, there will be no problems for you.
The solution to this puzzle is quite easy, but requires careful execution of instructions. Start by shifting the third plate five times to the left. Then shift the fourth plate to the right three times, after which you should move the second plate to the left four times. Move the third plate four times to the left again after this step.
Move the first plate to the right twice, after which move the fourth plate to the right twice too. Now move the fifth plate four times to the left. You should then move the fourth plate to the right two more times and then move the first plate to the right four times.
The last part of this puzzle involves shifting the second plate to the left six times, moving the fourth plate to the right six times, moving the third plate to the left three times and then moving the fifth plate to the left three times.
The lockpick combination described above has been verified with Lockpicking skill at its most basic level. It is important to remember that this combination will only work for the most basic level of the skill; if you have advanced your Lockpicking skills, the combination will be different.
