Tanabata Streamers is one of the Discover Japan Photography Challenges in Forza Horizon 6. In order to complete the challenge, the player needs to locate the streamers and take their picture using Photo Mode, because they can be seen only during the Summer time period. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Tanabata Streamers and how to complete the challenge even if your game isn’t currently in Summer.
How To Find The Tanabata Streamers

To finish the Tanabata Streamers Photography Challenge, go to the location that is near the Maze House. The streamers will only be available in Summer, and if you are already in Summer at the time of this challenge, just go to the location and use Photo Mode to capture your shot.
Go to the Pause Menu, then open Creative Hub, select EventLab and play the event. Select the option to search for events by Share Code from the bottom menu. Enter the Share Code and load the EventLab map. Select whatever car you like before going into the event, and once inside, just drive for a few seconds from the starting point, and you will get to Tanabata Streamers.
After finding it, simply open Photo Mode and take a picture of the Tanabata Streamers to complete the objective. Make sure that you take a photograph of the Tanabata Streamers standing in front of it. If you do not do so, it will make it impossible for the app to detect that you have taken a photo with the Tanabata Streamers in the background. After having photographed the Tanabata Streamers, you will be awarded the playlist points.
Completing each Photography entry gets you Discover Japan Points. You earn these points and use them to unlock rewards, making progress in the Discover Japan journal. It lets you collect stamps by exploring the map, adding more to your collection as you explore.
