During the events of Chapter 3 to obtain all the Focus Stones, you’re going to need Milten’s help to defeat the Adult Troll, which is guarding the Troll Canyon where the focus stone resides. Milten insists on creating a magical spell that can shrink the troll so that you can easily defeat it. This guide walks you through where to obtain the troll skin for the shrink monster spell so that you can defeat the troll and get back to collecting the focus stone.
Adult Troll’s Lair
After you meet Milten at Troll Canyon, follow him to the chamber on the right of the canyon. He will ask you to bring the adult troll’s pelts so he can craft a spell that will shrink the troll, making it possible to defeat it. After this the troll starts patrolling the canyon, it’s also the ideal time to explore the troll’s lair and search for anything you can find.

While the troll patrols the area, wait for the right moment then sneak up behind it to reach its lair, which you can see in the image above.
Troll’s Skin
In the troll’s lair, you can collect a piece of troll skin. You can also find several additional troll skins along the troll’s patrol route that drops while the troll is roaming the area.
Shrink Monster Spell
After you’ve collected a few troll skins, return to Milten and give it to him. Milten will then craft a Shrink Monster scroll that you can use to shrink the adult troll in order to defeat it.
