In the fourth chapter of the game “Gothic 1 Remake,” you will be asked to talk to the powerful wizard Xardas. But before this happens, you have to show your strength by defeating three deadly golems that roam freely in the Orc lands. Each golem has an enchanted heart, which is necessary for reaching Xardas’ tower. This guide will show you where to find the Fire Golem, Stone Golem, and Ice Golem and help you complete the quest.
All Golem Locations In Xardas Quest
After completing Chapter 4, Saturas will assign you a task where you have to find the mage Xardas, who lives in the territory of the orcs. In order to finish the quest assigned by Xardas, you will have to obtain the hearts of the Fire Golem, the Stone Golem, and the Ice Golem. After obtaining all three hearts, you can give them to the demon who guards the tower of Xardas. If you visit the Water Mages’ library in the New Camp, you can find books that explain each golem’s weakness.
Defeating The Fire Golem
Start by going to the sandy and dusty area at the top of the map. Be ready before approaching this area because it is full of dangerous enemies.
Approach the fiery place found on the top right corner of the region. Go through the rocky path and circle the mountain until you arrive at the path going up to the Fire Golem. Go along the mountain near the lava, where you will find the Fire Golem’s cave.
Blunt damage weapons work effectively on all types of golems. The use of fire magic will also work when dealing with the Fire Golem. Try to dodge its attacks, attack it a few times, and then step back again before doing so repeatedly. Don’t forget to have enough healing items. Once you’ve defeated the Fire Golem, pick up the Fire Golem Heart from it.
Defeating The Stone Golem
Go away from the area of the Fire Golem and go back to the sandy area where your adventure began. From here, go up the hill to where the Stone Golem is located. You may have enemies to deal with on the way, but be sure to defeat them before going to the Stone Golem. Blunt weapons are especially effective, and dodging attacks makes the fight much easier. After the battle, loot the Stone Golem and take its heart.
Defeating The Ice Golem
Behind the Stone Golem’s location, you’ll find an archway leading into a new area. You will have to move across this area and always choose the right path at any branch you come across. After this, you will arrive at a cave with plenty of flora that is useful for your adventure.
You will need to follow the path through this cave until you reach the snowy mountains. As you climb higher, you’ll encounter powerful snow wolves. These can be difficult to fight, so you may want to avoid them by carefully climbing along the rocks on the side of the mountain. After this, you should be able to get to the cave where you can face the Ice Golem. Inside the cave, fight the Ice Golem using the same dodge-and-attack strategy. Once it’s defeated, loot the Ice Golem Heart.
Returning To The Demon
Once you have collected all three golem hearts, start making your way back down from the mountain. Slowly glide down from the cliff until you are close to the level where you find the castle. Go inside and talk to the demon guarding the tower, handing him the three golem hearts. Once that is done, talk to Xardas at the top of the tower and begin your quest. After talking to him, head to Saturas to finish your objective.
