Beneath the New Camp’s waters lie two secret underwater caves that hide loot – one tucked under the lake near the tavern and another submerged in the lake by Jan’s cabin outside the New Camp. Reaching them requires careful navigation of submerged caves following a stream of water. This guide shows exactly where these underwater caves are located, what dangers to expect inside the caves and what kind of loot we get.
Underwater Cave 1 Location
The first submerged cave is beneath the New Camp, make your way to the camp’s tavern, get to the waterfalls at the end of the lake then dive beneath the surface at the base of the falls and swim underwater.
Search for water currents underwater and swim along them into a cave, enter with a full oxygen bar since you’ll have only just enough breath to reach the far side.
You’ll discover a corpse inside the cave that you can loot and you get the following loot – ruby which you can sell to traders for ore nuggets, a potion of rune magic and 12 ore nuggets.
Underwater Cave 2 Location
The second hidden underwater cave can be found just outside the New Camp. From the camp entrance, cut straight through the woods until you reach a small settlement where you’ll find the NPC Jan nearby the lake.
Swim down beside the house at the far end of the lake and dive beneath the surface, you’ll spot water currents that you can follow into the submerged cave. Proceed with caution, a Lurker lurks inside the cave so be ready for a quick combat.
After killing the Lurker, look for a corpse inside the cave that you can loot to collect the following items – wolf claws, arrows and essence of dexterity drink.
