Baloro promises to give you a good weapon in return, but getting it will not be an easy job, as promised. The quest will take you on a simple quest of collecting food from various places in the Colony, which includes merchants as well. While the task is easy enough to complete, the outcome may not be what you expect. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the Baloro’s Weapon in Gothic 1 Remake.
How To Get The Baloro’s Weapon
In order to find Baloro, visit the camp in front of the Free Mine and proceed to climb the ladder to reach the topmost level. After reaching the top level, move along the line of huts until you reach the end, where you will find Baloro.
Have a conversation with Baloro, who will inform you about a powerful weapon that he is ready to exchange for some food. When talking to him, avoid choosing any sceptical or dismissive dialogue options. Picking those responses can prevent the quest from becoming available.
Go to the Free Mine in the Kessel zone, where you will speak to Baloro, who is outside of it. Accept his quest and then gather all the required food items: 5 Apples, 2 Rice Schnapps, 5 Beer, 3 Bread, 2 Cheese, and 2 Grapes. The first five food items can easily be bought from any merchant.
As for the grapes, you need to either buy them from Wolf at the New Camp location or take them from the chest in one of the huts in the Free Mine zone. After gathering all the food items and giving them to Baloro, you will learn that there was no weapon reward since the beginning, and Baloro starts laughing at the hero for being too honest. Upon successfully fulfilling this quest, you will receive 300 XP.
