The Sonic Resonator tool is an essential tool to progress the game and to mine large materials in Subnautica 2. This guide shows you how to unlock the sonic resonator blueprint, the materials needed to craft the Sonic Resonator.
Sonic Resonator Blueprint
To unlock the Sonic Resonator blueprint, you need to scan multiple fragments of sonic resonators which can be found throughout the game located in multiple locations like crash sites and abandoned bases.
Crafting Sonic Resonator
Crafting Sonic Resonator requires 4 materials – battery, titanium ingot, lead and wiring kit.
Note : You can check out my guides on How to Craft Ingots and How to Find Lead to get the materials needed to craft a sonic resonator.
The battery and wiring kit can be crafted using the fabricator at the base.
After you’ve gathered required resources, use the fabricator to craft the Sonic Resonator. With this you can now break large ores like the one shown in the above second image and also progress the main questline.
