Nutrient Blocks are the ultimate food source for long dives in Subnautica 2 – dense, non-perishable food that keeps you exploring longer between stops. This guide will show you exactly how to make nutrient blocks – fabricator recipe and ingredients so you can stack up calorie dense ration and skip resupplies.
Note : To craft Nutrient Blocks, you’re going to need a Base with a fully functional fabricator and processor.
Crafting Nutrient Blocks

Crafting Nutrient Blocks require 2 main ingredients – Biofuel block and Salt.
Obtaining Salt

You can find salt deposits if you head east and southeast from the lifepod. It’s light brown in color as shown in the above image.
Making Biofuel Blocks


You can make biofuel blocks through the processor. There are 2 types of biofuel blocks, one made out of fibrous pulp and other is made from pents which are mostly found on seabeds.
Once you’ve gathered salt and processed some biofuel blocks, you can get back to the fabricator and craft Nutrient Blocks.
